J & J Fence

We had the first estimate meeting where measurements were taken, and all options were discussed. I wanted the iron twist style. A price was given to me. I shopped around, and decided to go with J and J. I called them to come back for exact measurements to be taken. Jesse pointed out some more issues, as the first time he saw the house we had been under earlier stages of construction and now the house was a bit different. We changed a few things along the way, so the price went up a tiny bit. We gave a deposit, and were given a time frame of 2 weeks for them to fabricate. Happily the doors, and window bars were ready in less time, so they came and put them in last Saturday. A truck full of guys and equiptment showed up and they all got to work. It took about 5 hours to do the job.They worked very clean, left no mess (a big plus with me). The bars and doors are very good quality, and the special paint they used on them looks very nice, not like the cheap stuff you see in the big box home stores. Originally me neighbors had been unhappy that I was putting on the bars, but now they say it looks better than they imagined. I own another house that I plan to hire J and J work on in the future.

It started out with the company coming early to install. This was a good thing. But after the installation problem my opinion of Jand J Fence and Construction went down the tubes. They made a mistake and will not come back and fix it.

They were professional and timely. They had a lot of other jobs, but they fit me in and did a good job. He was prompt with the estimate, coming the same afternoon. I told him I needed it done in a timely manner, and he was able to fit me into the schedule sooner than he originally promised. I would recommend them to anybody. Price was fair- I got other estimates that were higher.
