Good Neighbor Fencing Company

Beware! We had vinyl fencing and a driveway gate installed by Good Neighbors Fence. Initially, we were impressed by the friendliness and excellent ideas put forth by their front person, Karen. The install went smoothly and everything looked and worked great for a while. But, then, within a two month period from the install date, the gate started giving us problems and would not close. The installer came back and was able to make (what would be a temporary) a quick fix; however, within another few weeks, the problem resurfaced. Basically, the gate was made too large for the opening and when as all gates do, the frame shifted a few eights of an inch, the gate started scraping at all the hardware latch points. After another few weeks, the actual gate panels started to separate from the frame! I called their rep, Allen, again and again and each time he promised that someone would come by to assess the situation. So far, several months have gone by and no one has come. We will need to hire someone else to undo Good Neighbors Fence's errors and redo the project. Be careful when dealing with companies who make verbal promises, say all the right things, and back them up with no real action.

Shoddy workmanship with inferior materials. Rude and dismissive management that would not honor contractual warranty.
