Elizabeth Shutters

Anthony Lake, the Design Consultant from Elizabeth Shutters, was professional and pleasant from providing the estimate to following up on my one concern after the installation. The installation was provided by David and Gavino who were very efficient. Entire installation took 4 hours. Because of the odd size of my narrow bathroom windows, the existing window sills jutted out below the plantation shutters which did not give a very clean appearance. All of the other shutters were installed so the shutters were aligned and placed directly on top of the existing window sills. I spoke to Anthony who looked at the bathroom windows and solved the problem by sawing off the portion of the window sills that were extending beyond the width of the shutters. That was the perfect solution. The shutter and window sill look like one piece. I am very happy with the quality of the product as well as the great customer service provided by Anthony.

We had three shutter companies come to give us estimates. The other two companies were pushing vinyl shutters, but we really preferred wood. Elizabeth Shutters was the middle bid, but they had the best design, and Deborah was the most pleasant of the three sales reps. The shutters were delivered and installed in the time frame that had been promised, and they look and work great.

I have not decide who to choose nor what is best for my windows covering, most likely I don't think I will use them.

Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and knowledgeable. The shutters are a beautiful and elegant addition to my windows. How often can you say that something exceeds ones expectations. These shutters surely do. I would highly recommend Elizabeth Shutters to anyone looking in to adding or replacing shutters.

We had Elizabeth Shutters out to quote for two large windows at the front of the house. We'd previously been quoted on plastic/vinyl shutters and wanted to compare with wood. The process was very simple and low pressure and when we got the quote it was nowhere near as expensive as we'd suspected to go with wood (which can be repainted and repaired more easily). The install was fast, professional and issue-free. We couldn't be happier!

Their response to my initial phonecall inquiry was the next day. They explained all the options and showed several physical examples during the appointment. It made it very easy to decide. I placed the order and paid half the total that day. The shutters were installed 4 weeks later. The installer cleaned up after the installation, swept up, etc. I definitely would hire Elizabeth Shutters again. Fine work.

They were very good, the only thing is they made a mistake on one window. They had to go over a frame. They had to redo it and that took an additional 3 weeks but other than that is was okay and there weren't any problems. They're product is beautiful and it really enhances your room. They were very good, they call you and let you know when they'll do it then they will email you to tell you what you need to do to get ready. I didn't have a problem with them.

I was really happy with them. Whatever they promised they did. They were very professional. They came out and gave me a free estimate. They explained everything, showed me samples. I was very pleased with them. I will use them in the future.

Went as well as we expected - we expect good quality/service for our money and received it....

I love Elizabeth Shutters! No doubt, interior shutters are very expensive. And arched windows are even more! So we've been installing shutters in our home a few windows at a time. Elizabeth Shutters has been to our home 4 times for installations, and they have been wonderful every time. They are almost like family now! We still have a few more windows to do, so our relationship with ES will continue for a few more years

The lady who came out was very approachable and very knowledgeable about the shutters. When I called them to request for a home consultation, the gentleman on the phone was very friendly and in fact was very jovial. She came on time and she was very good at follow up. Even though I did not hire them in the process, there was no persistence in call at all and that was good.

The quality is good- but I do have a lot of dings on them because they are white and they are opened and closed a lot.The saleswoman measured the windows and 2 days later another person was sent out for a second measure. The installation took approx 2 hours for two large windows and one sliding door. The shutter are stunning! I am going to hire them again for another room.

We are happy with the quality of the products and the overall job relative to what we agreed to. One comment I would make is that we were given the option to install "inside" mounted shutters versus "outside" mounted shutters (meaning inside the frame of the window, or outside/over it). It turned out that one of the eleven windows required an inside mount, whereas the recommendation was to do outside mounts on all the others. The outside mounts are easier to install and cheaper, but those were not factors from our perspective.Not knowing any better, we went with what was recommended. The point of this is that it would have been very helpful if the saleman had more clearly explained the difference between the two and showed some pictures because after seeing the finished job, we would have preferred to do inside mounts on many of the other windows; espcially in the hallways because the outside mounts protrude much farther out from the wall than do the inside mounts. It would have been nice if the salesman had taken this into consideration when making the recommendations for an outside mount in those locations. Plus, we think the inside mounts just look better in some locations. It was also apparent that the outside mounted shutters were significantly easier for them to install versus the inside mount, so I don't know if that was a factor in their recommendation. So, again, I do not have any issues with the quality of what was actually done, I just wish we had done some of it a little differently knowing what we know now, which goes back to getting better recommendations during the sales process. There also was no followup after the job was complete to see if we were happy with everything, which, considering the amount of money we spent (and the intent to do more work in the future), didn't seem like too much to ask. Those are the two primary factors which resulted in the Overall Service Experience rating of a B, as opposed to an A.

They did a very good job. Their customer service was very good and they were competitively priced. They ensured the colors were matched well and their delivery turnaround time was good. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

They look beautiful. They are great. They were great both on the phone and in scheduling appointments. They seemed very on top of it. They are responsive on weekends like on Sundays.

The salesperson was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. They delivered and installed a week earlier than they said they would. The price was very competitive.

We did a lot of work on our house from new carpets and hardwood floors to painting inside and out. Elizabeth Shutters was the easiest and best of all the contractors. The salesperson told me all of the options. She helped me choose the best style for my windows. The company promised six weeks until install but the shutters were actually installed within three weeks. The installers came on time, installed the shutters and cleaned up after. The company called me a couple days later to make sure I was happy with the shutters. The shutters are beautiful, I could not be happier! Elizabeth Shutters was not cheapest but they came highly recommended and seemed liked the best value.

The kitchen and bedroom installation went well. They were both installed according to my agreed to specifications in a very satisfactory manner. They are up and serve me well to date. The living room slider was not installed according to my clearly and repeatedly stated and agreed to specifications. When I saw that it did not meet my requirements, I had the installer remove it and return it to Elizabeth Shutters.

Clarice came out and measured the whole house at once and saved the information. We called her every time we finished remodeling an area. She already had the measurements so all she needed was a deposit to get the shutters ordered. Her service was very convenient. We have recommended her to friends and they are just as pleased as we are. They have a quality product and great service.

THE SALESMAN CAME OUT TO SHOW PRODUCT. A 2ND PERSON CAME TO CHECK MEASUREMENTS. I WAS TOLD 28 WORKING DAY DELIVERY, AND IT WAS MUCH SOONER. WHAT A NICE SURPRISE.

I HAD AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH ELIZABETH SHUTTERS. I SHOPPED AROUND AND THEY WERE THEY LOWEST, EVEN TO THE LARGER HOME IMPROVEMENT AND WAREHOUSE STORES. THEY WERE RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A COUPLE OF FRIENDS WHO HAD USED THEM. WHEN I CALLED TO INQUIRE, A SALESPERSON WAS ABLE TO COME OUT WITHIN A WEEKS' TIME. I PURCHASED THE SHUTTERS THAT DAY WITHOUT ANY PRESSURE FROM THE SALESMAN. THEY HAD THEM READY WITHIN A MONTH'S TIME. THE QUALITY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP OF THE SHUTTER IS EXCELLENT. WHEN THEY ARE COMPLETELY CLOSED IN THE DAY, IT IS ALMOST TOTAL BLACKOUT. THEY ARE A LARGE COMPANY, SO YOU KNOW THEY WILL BE AROUND FOR A WHILE SHOULD YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.

IT WAS FINE AND GOOD. THE SALESPERSON WAS VERY NICE. THEY WERE JUST REAL GOOD TO WORK WITH. THE PRICE WAS COMPARABLE TO OTHERS. THE PEOPLE DOING THE WORK WERE FINE.
