Description of Work: Landscaping and installed a pool. They are great at pool installation. I wouldn't use them again for landscaping.

I would not give them a high recommendation. I experienced a lot of problems with the quality of the construction. The price was covered under the warranty. Their responsiveness was pretty good.
Description of Work: I used Teserra to repair the coping all around the pool. They had to replace it completely.

Let's start from the beginning. On Oct 10, 2005 we signed a contract for a pool & spa installation with CALIFORNIA POOLS & SPAS which later became TESERRA.We were told at that time " 8-WEEKS TO WATER " by the salesman ERIC SPROUSE. As it turned out it was 18- WEEKS Feb 6th. Final walk through and punch list items not completed untilJuly of 2006. ( 10 Months ) On June 4th 2008 we had to replace the filter pump and motor, ( 27 months ) after start up. On Aug. 22nd 2008 we had to replace 3 tile that cracked, the service man told us that they cracked because it was hollow behind the tile, ( poor installation ). ( $300 ) At present we have another cracked tile and the grout next to it is also cracking. I WILL NOT have Teserra make these repairs as I no longer feel I can TRUST them. On March 24th 2011 we had a leak between the pump and motor for the water feature, it took three times for the service man to correct the leak and at that time he talked me into replacing theJandy-2 Port Valve because if I had any more leaks it would be easier to make repairs. ( $125 ) In May 2011 we had to replace our filter motor again ( $500 ). 1-month short of 3yrs.These were all Jandy 2.5 HP Motors. That is 3 motors 1-original & 2-replacement motors in 5yrs. I believe that these are poor quality motors. Teserra and Jandy were supposed to work together and make an adjustment. After repeated phone calls Teserra ( Monica ) said there was nothing they would do, and Jandy ( Bill Houghton ) would not return our calls after he indicated he would follow thru on this situation.

I was kind of disappointed with the whole process. The price that they charged was a bit high. They didn?t make an effort to get back to me. The work wasn?t good.
Description of Work: I used the services of Teserra about a year ago for building a pool.
