Trash & Junk Haul-Away

Excellent! Curtis was on time and really worked hard and efficiently for an excellent price for the hard work he did. I will be recommending him to other friends as well as hire him again for other hauling. A great find.

He was there on time, did great work, and he left it clean

He kept in contact and arrived when expected. He got working as soon as he arrived.

He came out and looked at the work to be done. It wasn't a ton of clean up. He sounded negative about the job. He said maybe I should try to find some casual labor workers. He told me he hadn't worked for hourly wages in a long time. He didn't give me a price but said he would call in 2 to 3 hours with a price but that was after I mentioned I got his name from Angie's List otherwise I don't think he would have even agreed to give me a quote. Well now its the next day and I never received a call from him with a price. From the very beginning he seemed like he didn't want the job but his title is trash clean up and haul away so Im not sure what the problem is.

He was polite and left the yard completely clean.

Curtis is wonderful! I called for a cost estimate, and he came out that afternoon. The price was reasonable for a heavy job, and we scheduled a day within a few days of the estimate. When the weather proved difficult, Curtis phoned and rescheduled. He and his partner arrived exactly at the promised time, worked quickly and were always friendly. I have no trouble recommending Curtis--he is professional. I wouldn't have found him without Angie's List.

Day 1 - Left message describing job and asked to call me back to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Never received a response. Day 2 - Called again and he answered. Said he would meet me at the job site later that day. Would call me back before he left for the job site. Never heard from him again. Would not have given him an F if he just said he couldn't do the job in the first place.

Curtis arrived a couple of minutes early. He surveyed all waste, gave me an estimate, and I told him to start loading! It required two trips using two different types of trailers. He accomplished everything including sweeping and picking up nails and screws that had fallen during the disassembly of some wooden cabinets. We talked about a couple of his reviews that did not reflect the level of service I observed and he was sorry for the misunderstandings but felt that any further intervention on his part might make the situation worse. He also shared that he loves customers who use Angie's List because they acknowledge that he (Curtis) must make a profit after paying the costs involved for the disposal of all waste.

He had a trailer but I thought it could go in the back of the truck which worked out fine. He was very friendly and cleaned up the site well doing exactly what we had talked about. I would hire him again.

I called him. He answered promptly. We made an appointment for him to come at 9:30 am. At 10:30 am when he had not arrived I called him. He said he forgot but that he would come right now. He never showed. I called him again but he did not answer his phone so I left a message that he could come later in the day. He never called me back nor did he show up. I' m done......would not recommend!

Curtis worked around my schedule, was prompt and friendly.

This gentleman appears to be in business not simply to make a profit but rather to truly help his customers. This was proven by him offering a plan A before going directly to hauling everything away.

He showed up on time for the estimate and showed up on time the next day to do the work and done in one day. He did a very good job and was very business-like.

He was very nice and very respectful. He made sure when he picked up major things, he said, "Are you sure you want this thrown away?" He was very diligent, very friendly, and a hard worker. He left the garage very clean. He did a very good job. I remember the price was very reasonable. I remember thinking it was very worth it for us. He was there when he said he was going to be there.

Very professional, did exactly as promised.

It went very well. The only thing left was a recycling container for oil and a fire extinguisher, neither of which can be "dumped". Mr. Swindell kept his good humor intact, in spite of the fact there was more fencing than we originally thought, and found a way to tuck it in the trailer he brought for the job. He also found a few tools that had been tossed by mistake and asked about them before tossing them onto the trash pile.

The exvperience went very well. Curtis was professional and personable. I am planning to have more things hauled away and will be calling him again.
