HATCHER'S UPHOLSTERY & INTRRS

Description of Work: I called and left messages twice and never received a call back. I even drove to their shop in Clovis (also twice) during business hours, but it was closed. I was very disappointed since I had heard that they used to do very good work. I finally gave up on them. My bookkeeper told me the original owners are deceased, so maybe the person who took over the biz is not up to speed yet.

Description of Work: Hatcher's gave me a quote in the amount of $1,200.00 to reupholster a recliner. I gave Mr. Hatcher a check in the amount of $600.00 which he cashed immediately to order the fabric and misc. materials. He was to pick up the chair in 4 weeks. He never picked up the chair. When I called him or stopped by his place of business to inquire, he told me that they got a little behind due to moving to another location and foot surgery. After 5 or 6 weeks, he promised he would call me on the following Thursday to set up a date to pick up the chair. He never followed through with the call. I finally called him and told him I wanted my money back in cash. He brought me a cashier's check for the full $600.00. He knew he was moving his business to a new location and having surgery when he wrote the quote and gave me the date he would pick up the chair. I found him to be disorganized and unreliable. Needless to say the work did not get done.
