After sending the pictures, Reuben emailed me and asked that I call him for a quote. He went back on what he had told me by saying that he was not going to give me a quote unless I promised that I would hire him. He started talking about the cost of gas for a quote, which was all the more confusing since he hadn't nor intended to come over to my house to give me a quote. He continued to say that he didn't want to put time into writing up a document for me if I wasn't going to hire him. I told him that all I needed were a few sentences of how much the cost would be. I find it interesting that he didn't want to put time into writing a simple document or paragraph while I spent the time to send him 32 pictures along with a write-up of all of the damages. He continued with the words "babe" and "sweetheart" while telling me that there is no reason that I should not know who I want to go with. He seriously began bullying me saying that I should just be able to tell him right now who I want to hire. I just ended up telling him not to write anything if he doesn't feel comfortable. This is incredibly shady and unprofessional. On his Angie's list page, it states that he provides "free estimates"--this is obviously not true. Check out a reviewer on Yelp who says that All American Painting stole jewelry from her. The company also has a complaint with the BBB from another reviewer claiming poor workmanship and lack of communication. I would stay far away from this company.
