Description of Work: We did not use his service to re-roof our 1,650 square foot home. We provided detailed written description of what was needed. The estimate provided was 300% to 400% of the other other Angie's list roof contractors and exceeded 24% of the value of the home itself. When I questioned by email, he explained the requirements. They appeared to be no different than what was reqiuired by any other licensed contractor using similar/ or same materials. The pricing for the service was not acceptable. At initial contact it took three phone calls before we received a return phone. This was my first Angie's list service inquiry. We ultimately did use another Angie's List provider.

 + -1 moreVery happy with the job. There was a slight delay due to weather, so the job began a week late. Tear-off was complete and the new materials loaded onto the roof in one day. Kevin returned the following day and completed the job in three days (four total). Hammes was not the cheapest quote, but not nearly the highest either. The products used were ones I specified, and Chris even filed for accreditation from Owens Corning in order for me to receive a 30-year warranty. My roof looks great and should last for many, many years. The crew were all very friendly and accommodating, and cleaned up the site at the end of every work day. Would definitely use again.

 + -1 moreHe showed up promptly to bid the job. When we requested credit card billing, which he did not yet use, he signed up for the service. He and his workers installed did all work as described/requested in spite of the heat wave we were experiencing in the county. Professional.
Description of Work: Removed old roofing, added heat shield and venting, new 30 year roofing.

 + -1 moreoverall I would say terrible, extreamley foul language, yelling at empoyees, overall just unprofessional.
