Mediacom is the only choice in my area. Its the first internet service I have ever had where its limited and charged by usage. When I have guests or my son home from college and we are all streaming on our devices, we go over the limit and have to pay more. That is annoying. Also the reception is not good and the reception drops all the time. My boys who use internet constantly are always complaining. They've cornered the market in this rural area, but when I am in a different area and have a choice, I would not choose them.

We like them; they do their job. Our experience with the customer service was good; they helped with our problems quickly.

Their price is exceptionally high but the service is good. They are way overcharged. They always tell us when they are going to come and they do.

They are okay, but they just got off to a really bad start. They brought us old equipment first and that's what got us off to a bad start and it took me three tries to get new equipment. Their service is good once you get good equipment.

They are a good cable company.

I have been using them for about five years. There is not a lot of competition for them. The internet is fast. They are expensive. They raised their prices on me, thats why I dropped them for a while. They said you had to wait six months before you went back. I went back after a month and they dropped all of their prices for me to go back.

Getting my call-waiting was a nightmare. It took about three months to get that taken care of. It took six tries to get it taken care of. They kept saying they'd have it fixed and they never did. My husband finally had to go to the office. I thought they really didn't offer call-waiting and that it was false advertising because it wouldn't work. The people working there just don't seem knowledgeable enough.

I have been using their services for eight years. At that time, it was pretty much all that was around here. We were little bit out of the country. In terms of price, I am probably low-balled on the price too; I know my husband complains about it a lot. In terms of quality, they are pretty good most of the time. I would use their services again in the future.

MediaCom is much less expensive for our television, internet and telephone needs with a savings of about a $200. The local sales representative dealt with me personally, and has given me his cell phone number to handle any of my concerns personally. MediaCom is very punctual. I have recommended them to others.
