 + -1 moreSent appraisal by email and mail. Took less than an hour. This is the first time I use an appraiser. It was faster than I anticipated.
Description of Work: One person came. He check outside of home and inside of home visually. Took some measurements and photos. Home is on a downslope hillside. He did not go down all the way.

Description of Work: I called East Bay Appraisal Services to ask about a bank-arranged appraisal received from another individual that I didn't agree with. 'What were my options?' I spoke to Bruce. During our conversation, it was clear that he was very experienced in this field, having worked over 26 years. He was personable, kind and very generous with his time. He discussed the present state of the business, its effect on services as well as how he weighs factors to make an appraisal. Though I had fully intended to rebut the bank's appraisal with his, he concluded independently that he 'could not help me' -- that he would agree with what I thought was a very conservative estimate.

 + -1 moreBruce (East Bay Appraisal) was able to come to perform the appraisal the following day after I contacted him. He was very complete and detailed with both the appraisal and the report. Was able to complete the report and get it to us the day following the service performed.
