We cannot say enough wonderful things about Jesse and Edward Lanter (father and son from Claremont) and their incredible team! They transformed our rugged backyard into a beautiful and functional space. They were friendly and professional, worked quickly without compromising quality, and were very mindful of our budget. We could not be happier with the final result! We highly recommend Jesse and Edward and their crew!

Edward and his crew did a great job and exactly what we needed to "refresh" our back and front yards. They took care to leave my house in neat and clean condition (had to access back through our house), they took parts of two days to complete the job, which was fine with us. The only reason for the slightly lower rating was the difficulty in scheduling the work, however, we later learned that Edward had some health and family difficulties during the time we needed the work done. Overall, it was a great experience and this is a good company.

Buyer BEWARE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! This company does NOT keep their word and I am really doubting they actually know anything about landscaping. My mom was looking for drought friendly landscaping for the front yard. We looked at various places and got various quotes. At first, Edward, the son, was really nice and attentive and really seemed to know what he was talking about and had this really great plan for the front yard. My mom is older so doing a lot of yard work is not for her so we asked for low-maintenance, slow growing plants that would not take over the yard. ;Sure, no problem, we can do that! And, we will even have a service that you can use to help you maintain the yard Fast forward to almost a year later and the plants are a wild mess! We have talked to various other people with landscaping experience and it seems Mr Edward, the son, does not know a thing about plants because he must have picked the fastest and biggest (and cheapest) growing plants he could find. We said slow-growing and manageable and he did just the opposite. In addition, Edward, the son, was supposed to be coming and doing maintenance on the yard and he found EVERY excuse NOT come and do the work. Then, my mom talked to the dad, Edward senior, and he is just as bad at keeping his word. Said he would come by to talk to my mom about how they had dropped the ball and he never showed up. The two Edwards are joke and disgrace to the landscaping community who actually do a good job. My mom has had to find someone else to help her maintain the yard and she has had to go out to the nursery to find plants to replace some of the monsters that are now growing in the yard. For the sake of your sanity, DO NOT USE LANTER LANDSCAPING.

We couldn’t be happier with the way our cement, grass, and rock came out. We love our low maintenance yard. The Lanter Landscapes team was amazing to work with. They showed up on time, listened to our ideas, offered opinions and suggestions, worked within our budget, and were friendly and professional. Jesse gave us a time frame and broke the steps down so we knew when everything was going to be completed and would give us updates throughout the process. Edward shared his knowledge about our specific grass type, offered suggestions on specific fertilizers, made sure we approved items before moving to the next steps, and explained everything we needed to know step by step. Thank you again Lanter Landscapes! I can’t wait to recommend your work to others. Keep up the amazing work!!!

Lanter Landscapes were super professional from beginning to end. Edward really went through the process with us, listening to us and our ideas, as well as suggesting things we really liked. Our front yard looks amazing, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

Edward was able to take my basic idea for a porch design and elevate it to a level I couldn't have imagined initially. He was very communicative throughout the process and made the whole process a breeze.

I am very happy with the job Lanter did. Very simple, but they were very professional. Edward was in constant communication with me while I was making up my mind of what I wanted - providing samples and websites to look at gravel and stone. He worked with my schedule so I was able to work from home and not take any time off work. Will use them again if the need arises.

We are very pleased with the Lanter Landscape Mr. Edward is highly skills and very professional always on time his crew were extremely hardworking crew done outstanding job I wish I could show how my backyard was and how it looks right now also they did some extra work was not included on the contract Mr. Edward Lanter refuse to take anything extra beyond what we agreed on the contract cannot thank them enough for the crew and their supervisor Jesse they were professional polite and friendly , if you are looking for landscaping and you tried the rest now you could hire the best trust me you will not be disappointed feel free to ask me for reference . They not the only contractor landscape worked for me for the last 35 years I had different landscaping people did a lousy job never on time nor were very professional, from now on whenever I need landscaping Lanter Landscaping my choice I highly highly recommend the Lanter's company. By the way when the day is over they leave the place spotless I appreciate that .
