Beltran and Sons Pest Control

We have a contract with them for rodent control and it was not in control for a month now. They really tried to do their job every Wednesday but I think they stopped coming so I'm not sure if the contract went out. The treatment has not been effective as expected at this point but we will continue to use them. I don't think they did anything wrong, I just think that it's just a big infestation. They are professional and nice people.

Overall the experience was very satisfactory. Beltran and Sons customer service approach made communication very easy. They performed as stated. Their additional dealings with my wife and parent while performing their services went very smoothly. I highly recommend them to anyone with a similar situation.

I called them this morning, because we started to see ants inside the house. And once you get them in, it's hard to get them out. I didn't want a lengthy service plan, just wanted them to blast the area and get rid of the problem. They were able to squeeze me in the same afternoon and got it taken care of. Alex was great. He explained what he was doing and what we should expect. Tremendous knowledge and highly efficient. So far so good! I would definitely go back to them with any pest control issues.

They were recommended by Angie’s List. They were prompt, professional, and polite. They listened to what I had to say. About five days later, they came out to do a spot treatment. They were very prompt about doing that. I would recommend them.

They were terrific. They came and set up traps and I did not want a lot of chemicals. They were in my attic and they installed traps, closed off holes and I would recommend them to anybody. They cared a lot for them not to give up, came back, until they knew they caught it. Price wise they quoted me a price and even though it took twice as long there were no additional costs. As for responsiveness I would call them at different times when I heard things and they would come out every time I called them that day. As for punctuality I always knew when they were coming.

They are very, very good. They are very reasonable. I think they are responsive to senior citizens especially so I really like them. I just had a new carpet installed on my porch and apparently when the young man was treating it, it came loose and got crumpled so I called them and he sent a man here to fix it.

They came out and did an inspection. So far, they seem very competent. I am confident that we will use them.

Beltran came out to inspect for Termites and other pests. They were one of 3 quotes. Were very prompt, fixed infected wood and did not leave a mess. Took care of Termites in the attic, crawl space and some areas of the garage. They did a very good job. They were very competitively priced relative to the other vendors. Recommended. I would (and have) used them since.

After initially accessing the situation at my house they set + checked traps weekly + provided exclusion work to the house. They were very professional in all aspects + very reasonably priced for the amount of time spent and number of trips made to my house. i would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

The representative at Beltran and Sons is very prompt and professional. We had absolutely no problem.

Excellent work with a complete search of the crawl space and attic, and resealing of every nook or cranny where a critter could enter the under-house or attic areas.

Superlative service and followup. I had a persistent problem with a bee infestation under the eaves of my roof. Beltran and Sons was very conscientious in doing an initial treatment and coming back when the initial treatment did not get rid of the bees. I was extremely pleased with their service, would absolutely call them again, and would recommend them to anyone.

We had an ongoing issue with tree rats invading our attic. I call B&S and Alex Beltran provided the service. He was always prompt, professional and knew what was needed to resolve the problem. The service was performed over several weeks to first catch the rats and then seal the roof where they were entering. Apparently, when the dish and the cables were installed that provided sufficient room for a rat to enter the attic. Alex informed us that our wonderful 75 year old CA live oak was providing access to our roof, as well as plenty of acorns. He recommeded trimming any branches no closer that 3 feet from the roof.

Very quick, smooth, no fuss. Much quicker than I expected, and they billed us promptly and efficiently.

We were scheduled for a prompt visit within a couple days of our call, and the serviceman showed up on time. He carefully explained what he was going to do, what the likely causes of our problems were, and how we could reduce the chances of it happening again. He cautioned us against letting people or pets near the treated areas for a day. He honored the Angie's List discount offer, and was completely professional throughout the visit.

How did it go? Very well; B&S came out and gave a price estimate, completed the work in the time they said it would take to do, were very nice about being polite & clean and charged what they said they would charge.

They arrived promptly and worked quickly. I was offered a 10% discount off the $89 cost (but somehow that worked out to $81 with their calculator instead of $80.10). I did notice a residue along my baseboards, and I was not expecting that. But on the upside, I have not had any problems with ants since they treated the home.

We've used them 2 or 3 times. The time before this one we spent $2,000 with them. The job was excellent. We would use them over anybody else.

BELTRAM CAME OVER AND I TOLD THEM ABOUT THE MICE. I SHOWED THEM THE CRAWL SPACE AND THEY WENT RIGHT DOWN(IT IS 1 1/2-2' TALL) AND LOOKED AROUND AND CAME BACK WITH SUGGESTIONS WHICH THEY THEN IMPLIMENTED. WE USED TRAPS. WE HAVE BEEN MOUSE FREE SINCE.

They had an alternative, non-toxic process for termite control. The young man who came out was thorough and knowledgeable. He was competitive and gave a good price. If it weren?t for the fact I was inclined to use his competitor who I had used for years before, I would have used Beltran and Sons.

They were able to send somebody out fairly quickly. The ants have subsided. They don't have to come out monthly. They come out once and it is taken care of for several months. If that turns out to be the case, it will be very effective. We are new customers. They did show up on time. Their prices were comparable to the other phone calls that I made.

Eventually the owner had to intervene for the lack of ethics and professionalism his contractor did not exemplify. Had the owner not intervened, an F overall rating would have been warranted. It was not a good experience.

This company was just terrific. The technician (one of the family/owners) who did the estimate was punctual, pleasant, and professional. The termite extermination was scheduled quickly and completed in a timely fashion, again in a very professional manner. Chris Beltran even patched a couple of old, worn termite-eaten spots in my eaves that were no longer infested - at no charge! I had put this off a long time, because years ago I'd had an experience with a nationally-known company that was very hard-sell/high pressure, which I found to be such a turnoff. I let them talk me into tenting my house - a big expense and a real pain - and now I wonder if it was really necessary. Chris explained everything, when tenting is needed, and when it isn't. After he finished the inspection, I was so impressed I cancelled my appointment with a second company I had contacted for an inspection and estimate. Beltran and Sons is completely, refreshingly different from the big dogs - I would recommend them to everyone!

The owner made a thorough inspection of the property and described the work he would do and how much it would cost. We liked the fact that all damaged wood would be replaced and that there was a two year guarantee. The workers arrived early in the morning (after checking to be sure that was okay). The need for an additional charge because the job took more wood than expected was a surprise, but was settled equitably. We paid for the wood and the company paid for the labor. Also an apprentice carpenter did some shoddy work on the front columns which was immediately redone to our satisfaction. All through this process, the workers were neat and unobstrusive and the owner was eager to make sure we were happy with the work being done.
