It went well. He and his crew worked hard and did a good job.

A totally positive experience with an outcome that exceeded our expectations. Carlos is an artist at heart and able to visualize the outcome of the landscape plan that was drafted by our designer. Where the plan conflicted with our goal of beauty, simplicity, and easy maintenance, he pointed those out to us and made alternative suggestions. These involved little "tweaks" here and there such as redirecting the flow of the creek bed under a custom created stamped concrete bridge (his signature design). He suggested that we put a stamped concrete seat on top of the brick foundation to match the path and to create a custom look. Carlos suggested that we move the concrete path away from our large liquid amber so we wouldn't damage the tree. These were just the ideas I can remember at this time. There were many more of them. Carlos was a pleasure to work with. He was present most of the time to oversee and work with his courteous crew of longtime workers. His price was reasonable to begin with--a bargain when you consider his ideas and input. Most refreshing was his "ownership" of this project and the pride he took when it was all done.
