Tom's Concrete

The concrete replacement well really well and looks just great. Tom and his assistant are professional, with attention to every detail including returning later in the evening to make sure the concrete was properly hardening. Tom also offered to return in a few days to inspect how the concrete was marching the original.

Tom and his crew showed up on time and assessed the situation. They got started and a short time later it was finished! It's exactly what I wanted.

Bought Angie's special for $999. of I forget how many square feet of cement work. And then I paid an additional $900 for cement and $986 for labor for additional work. I took pictures so that I would remember but I lost my camera. So, I think they put sand or gravel down (not sure), they did the rebar and made a form, brought my neighbors sidewalk up a bit so there would be a level transition with the soon to be new adjacent cement, enlarged my front walkway, did this with creative thinking so that we did not have to change the existing yard sprinklers. The driveway turned out beautiful. And the widened walk way really gives my house a welcoming appeal. They gave me instructions as to when I could walk and much later drive on the drive way. Several knowledgeable persons came by later and quizzed me on the process they had done and assured me that they had done an excellent job. When I get ready to do the rest of the driveway and patio area I plan to use Tom's concrete again as they were easy to work with and I am very satisfied with the results.

It turned out very well. They did a very good job. They were very good with the estimate and it was reasonable. They got in here and the work was well done and they cleaned up after themselves. They came out probably right after I purchased the big deal but I really do not know what the date was. I only paid for the price of the big deal. They had been fairly accurate in what they had been saying their people would do and there is always the opportunity to get feedback and put in any complaints if there were. Their price was very reasonable and they were very responsive. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Gave me a quote on a backyard patio. He was very knowledgeable and went over important things like proper slope, recommended type of finish based on having dogs, distance from fence based on level change, etc. I felt very comfortable with him and would have used him if I decided to do my patio

Tom's Concrete came out and was very polite. They made several suggestions on different ways to do stuff that we were interested in. He did all the measurements and gave us a quote, right there on the spot. There were two different ways to do what we wanted and he explained the benefits both of them and left the decision up to us. We called him and he said, "I'll be right there," and he was. He was very knowledgeable and presented different options for us.

The over all job was great. I marked one grade down on quality because there were some leaves that were stuck in the top layer that have come up and left markings. And there were nails left behind. No big deal, still love the drive way! The price was a little more than the other quotes I recieved from other contractors but I felt the price was worth the trust and hard work Tom and his crew brought to the table.

Tom and his crew were fantastic. We could have hired a different contractor for much less, but Tom's expertise showed when he came to give us an estimate. He asked all of the right questions, made multiple measurements, and revisited the site to make sure he could incorporate the proper drainage and still match up with the existing sidewalk. Tom kept us informed of his schedule and we had to move the project back one day (which was no problem for us). His crew were on time and were considerate, helpful, and very competent. Tom was here the whole day, too. Their work and advice was excellent. We are thrilled with the end result. If I ever have any need for concrete work, Tom will be the first one I call!

From start to finish, Tom and his crew were efficient, professional and friendly, too! He suggested changes in my (somewhat uninformed) design that greatly improved the project at no additional cost. He noticed that a small slab next to the garage door was slanting toward the garage, and without even asking he tore it out and replaced in with a small slab that drains correctly--at no additional cost. We are absolutely delighted with the workmanship and attention to detail the crew exhibited on this job. I never knew a driveway could looks so nice. Every detail is literally perfect.

The work done was excellent. Tom and his crew arrived on time and worked diligently throughout the day. Very meticulous. Offered recommendations which were carefully explained. It was obviously important to everyone working on Tom's team that my work was done right.

I needed my current driveway replaced and extended which required the removal of a large brick planter. Tom surveyed the job and gave me a price quote. He and his crew were very respectful of my property, did a great job and finished on time.

Tom and his crew were amazingly professional. The location for the patio was only large enough for the patio, so no equipment besides hand tools/wheelbarrows etc. could be used. Tom met with us and designed features of our patio that we had never considered. They kept to the quote even though they had to do many additional pieces (such as putting in an access pipe 40' long under the patio so in the future we could run control wires for irrigation or other things, or putting in a passthrough pipe so the a/c drain didn't stain our patio along with many other minor but important things). All these little touches really impressed us. The patio caused a few unforseen problems since it was a very unique situation, but Tom and his crew handled them in stride. He even answered many questions from my curious 5 year old. We are so happy with our patio... he turned an unusable space into a private retreat area. THANK YOU!

The barn was 60% concrete and Tom poured the additional 40% of the floor, the challenge was the floor slope from the concrete already in place... turned out great! I have a couple more projects and Tom will be the first call.

Tom and his crew are fantastic. They were on-time, professional and very courteous, plus they did a great job...the patio looks great. Tom was always in contact with me as to when he would be at the site. I was always consulted with suggestions or questions. I am so pleased with the project ....I would definitely use this company again!!

We have been getting all kinds of positive complements from neighbors and joggers about how fresh and clean the new driveway looks. It may be our old driveway looked THAT BAD or our new driveway looks this good. I choose the later!

I live in a PUD with strict controls. I needed to replace a small portion of one of my front walks and match it with the existing exposed aggregate. I was concerned that I would have a difficult time finding a quality contractor to do such a small job. Because it was a small job Tom fit me in. He came up with an excellent match on the concrete, better than I thought possible. He cleaned the site, formed it and poured all in one day. When I changed part of the plan midway through he adapted to it. The finished product looks excellent. Better than I thought it could look. He was clean, neat and respetful of the exiting landscaping. It wasn't inexpensive but my job was so small I knew the price would be high. He was very fair on the price. I will recommend him to friends and I would absolutely use him again.

A++++. After obtaining three estimates to expand my driveway, I decided to go with Tom’s concrete. His crew arrived on time, did a beautiful job, and left the work area cleaner than when they had started. I went out from time to time to watch the crew as they worked, they were all very friendly and knowledgeable. In addition, Tom went way above and beyond. I had started a solo project of renovating my front yard several months ago and had a lot of work ahead of me which was going very slowly. Since Tom had a tractor with him that day for the driveway expansion, he asked if he could offer any help. He ended up leveling out my front yard and pulling out hedges that were planted in 1969 (this was my Grandparent’s house). He saved me a ton of time and money!! I would highly suggest using Tom’s Concrete.

Tom did an excellent job. Two other companies quoted me a price of $1000 and $1500 to remove and haul away the sidewalks. Tom did it for $550. Also, he was able to come out to give me a quote the day I called him to schedule a meeting and he was able to return the following day to do the work. He is a very nice and considerate person. He was mindful of the sprinkler lines that ran underneath the concerete and did a good job cleaning up afterwards. He also spent some time helping follow a random sprnkler line that he discovered running underneath one of the sidewalks. His willingness to help me see how far into my yard it went saved me 30 minutes of work, since he was able to use his equipment (as compared to me using a shovel). I have already given his contact information to my neighbor who is looking to have some concrete removed.

Tom contacted me just after I purchased the Big Deal. However due to my crazy schedule the work wasn't performed for about a month. Tom was very patient with me. When the big day finally arrived his crew arrived promptly and set to work. They were friendly and efficient and handled everything professionally. In no time we had our new pad. Then they cleaned up. We have done concrete work ourselves and this time it was great fun to watch someone else do it and do it so well. We are very pleased with the work. I would have them again and would recommend to anyone else contemplating concrete work.

They were very honest and did a good job. The crew was very down to earth. They laid out all the details of what they were going do beforehand, which I appreciated. Our area was a little bigger than the area for the big deal, so they charged a little extra, but I knew that ahead of time. The owner was a great guy - very funny. I would definitely have them back.

They did a good job and I had a positive experience. My only concern was that there were three guys who came out and did the job and when it was completed they wanted me to write three separate checks instead of just one.

First time using Angie's list. I needed a cement contractor that could do a small job, and be good at pouring concrete. When I spoke to Tom, he was upfront on his time schedule and stated "It might take awhile due to my schedule" Just speaking to Tom, he came off very professional and upfront, I decided to wait for Tom to do the work. My pad was poured in less than 2 weeks. Tom and his assistant Marco worked hard were very professional and did a great job on matching the salt finish to the existing pad.

They were great, a pleasure to work with. We just chose to go with another company because we were having both pavers installed for a patio with the concrete extension, and we found one company who could do both. If we need concrete work only in the future, I would not hesistate to use these guys
