Description of Work: Replaced driveway and extra slab. Less expensive than other bids. Very nice job. His contract included a detailed description of what he would do. There was a tree in the corner, so he made a curve in the concrete to accommodate it. Tom extended the concrete into the back sidewalk to give it a more finished look. Neither of these things were required; he did them at no extra charge.

Description of Work: I first contacted Tom about doing an overlay on my existing patio. We talked extensively about the cons of doing overlays and he came to my home to give me an estimate for pouring a new patio. I had another company give me an estimate for doing an overlay and it was more money than having it completely removed and new concrete installed. | |I had my old patio removed and replaced by Tom's Concrete and his crew with new colored concrete and a stone stamping design. Tom said it would take 2 days and he was absolute on that. Unfortunately, for him and his crew, it was quite hot on the day of the pour and they were totally exhausted. | | I found Tom to be very truthful and helpful in steering me to what the patio required and helping me decide on color, stamp, and sealing the finished product. He was most helpful in widening an area for my garbage cans on the side of my house where he also poured a long walkway to my front gate. He installed 2 metal mounts in the concrete to install 4x4 posts to hang lattice in an attempt to hide the cans. He will return in 30 days to seal the patio, which will make the color pop and look finished. | | I am very happy with his responsiveness, honesty, his quality of work, and his humor. I would not hesitate to recommend him for concrete work needed done.

Wanted to know if they were in the business of doing concrete washing and sealing, or if they could recommend anyone who was, but never heard back from them. |The "F" is for responsiveness. I can't rate the quality of their actual service.

Description of Work: Removed lawn and poured a walkway with curves for an artistic look. I did not know exactly what I wanted. Tom was wonderful at creating a visualy beautiful walk leading to our home. Toms workers knew what to do and very meticulous with the details. One small section 2 x 3 developed a crack in 1 day. I emailed Tom on Easter Sunday and he replied within an hour and said he would be their that evening to look at it. He said he was going to remove that section. The very next morning bright and early he was removing that section and pouring new concret. Tom is very adamant about standing behind his work and making sure you are happy and if he is not happy with the look ect. he will tell you that it needs to be fixed so both of you are happy. Loved his dedication to the final product. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Toms Concrete.

Description of Work: A few months back a 7'x7' section in my concrete patio was removed to repair underground sewer lines. It left an unsightly hole in my patio. Tom and his team removed the remaining section and replaced the aggregate to match. They hand seeded 3/8" exposed plum creek rock with near perfect match to the existing. They returned the following day to acid wash the concrete residue that remained on the inlaid bricks.

Description of Work: Repaved Driveway, with color. Excelent work, prompt, work good enough so a number of people stopped and wanted to know who did the work. Crew, excellent, but the owner was the hardest worker of all. Price lowerthan other bids. Highly recommend...

Description of Work: Tom came out about a month ago and gave us a good, fair quote. However, I just lost my job and there is no way we can afford to have the driveway replaced. The $999 deal was about 1/6 the cost of a new driveway. We did not realize that when my husband purchased the big deal.

Description of Work: Tom McMahon and his crew did a terrific job on my side yard concrete job (approx. 8yrds). He came in and removed a hedge I had along the fence line, helped me put in cross electrical and water lines that I wanted under the new concrete, helped put in couple steel posts for a new gate and did the necessary prep work for the concrete job and poured and finished the concrete in 2 days! He has a great team who know how to lay down and finish concrete. They also were creative with some "challenge" areas like my sump pump cover plate. I would definitely recommend Tom for any concrete work you might need.

Description of Work: I did not hire Tom's concrete. I am well into my senior years and live in an affluent neighborhood. He was very impressed with the neighborhood and mentioned several times that this area is new to him. Having done my research, I was aware of approximately how much the paving should cost. Tom quoted me twice what it should have been. I know this because of the other bids I received. I believe he saw an old lady in a nice house and decided to charge accordingly.AMB

Description of Work: I found Tom on Angie's list, and was looking for someone to remove some existing concrete in my backyard, and make some changes in the landscaping. I called Tom in the am, and he was able to see me that day, got the project rolling, and exceeding all of my expectations. I'm thrilled with the changes Tom made in my backyard, would highly recommend his services, and recognize an exceptional worker who is punctuctual and thorough. Way to go Tom !!

Description of Work: Called this company purely on reliance on Angie's List & I don't regret it. He was completely professional, punctual & personable. He suggested several options, explained why my ideas wouldn't work as well so that I could understand it, & then completed the work in one day!! He returned in a week to remove the forms & to complete the cleanup. My husband & I are very happy with the results & would highly recommend Tom's Concrete to anyone. We will use him in the future. The work was for a walkway up to our door incorporating the front stoop which was poured about 4 years ago. We had to remove a brick walkway, but his workers did most of that & neatly stacked the bricks out of the way. The walkway continued around part of the front of the house & is being used extensively by us, my cats & dog.

Description of Work: Tom and his brother are good local guys. I had them do a small job, repouring the driveway across the parking strip of an old house in midtown. I cannot comment on bigger jobs, but I would certainly consider hiring them if needed.

Description of Work: Tom creative a concrete patio in my backyard. It came out really good. Not only did he do a great job, but he was very friendly and very hard working. I would hire him again.

Description of Work: Tom was fast and efficient and the job was done in about 6 hours--the driveway was 6 feet wide and 33 feet long and I was pleased about with the care he took--he even put in a drain that we had not talked about.
