I was able to get an appointment quickly (next day) and the locksmith was right on time. He took the time to explain what the problem was with the old keys and why re-pinning the lock rather than replacing it was going to solve the problem. He also gave us three new keys since our old keys were so poor quality.

I called late Wednesday afternoon for an appointment and they were able to come the next morning between 0900-0930. The gentleman arrived at 0920 and I told him what I wanted and he checked things out. I rated a C in professionalism ONLY because the gentleman didn't introduce himself at the door. I had to ask him his name. Tony was pleasant and quick, and answered all my questions. Since I have smart locks on two of my doors, he showed me how to reset the locks myself next time. I received a follow up call that evening from the owner of the company asking about how the service went. She was polite and genuinely wanted to have input so that they could better their service in any way to make the customer even more happy I would definitely use them again.

We were pleased with their job overall. They were very friendly and helpful on the phone, when I called for an estimate, so I set an appointment for installation. (I had contacted two other locksmith companies already and had not been impressed with their attitude on the phone.) They were late in arriving, but they did let me know that their first appointment was running late in plenty of time, so I was able to rearrange my schedule that morning. When the two locksmiths arrived, they were very pleasant and courteous. They went out of their way to make sure our locks very smoothly -- much better than they were before. They even made us two extra keys!

I called them on a Monday, and they were prepared to come for a same day appointment. Since I was not available that day, they arrived first thing the next morning. They were on time, extremely professional, very efficient, and even supplied me with a couple extra keys. Great customer service all around - from the moment I made the initial call to the final follow up call the next day.

Sacramento Economy Lock & Key, Inc. were timely and efficient. I actually lost the key and he came out almost immediately and re-keyed it, with a very good attitude. He's knowledgeable, trustworthy and did what he said he was going to do. He had flexible rates and did a really good, good job.

I found this company through Angie's list. I chose them because of the excellent grades and reviews. I was able to schedule an appointment for "next day". My husband was standing by to greet the locksmith, and he said they were wonderful. We got extra keys for mentioning Angie's list, and they were also able to rekey a special key we didn't want to throw away. We only had three locks to change, but we appreciated the quick and professional response

The gentleman was very honest. He advised me over the phone that Baldwin locks have a lifetime warranty which means I could possibly have it fixed at no cost.

I had purchased new locksets to replace the ones that were broken. When Tony dismantled the jammed lockset he said that the knobs were in real good shape and all that needed to be replaced was the latch assembly which resulted in a considerable cost savings. The day after the repair work was completed, Mary called to see if evertthing was working OK, which it was. I will definitely call Economy again should the need arise.

The company answered the phone promptly, was helpful with my questions. The locksmith who came to our house was on time, customer-focused and very efficient in his work. One negative - some chipping of paint around the lock housing on front door (inside and out) occurred during the work. The locksmith did bring it to my attention and apologized but apparently did not have any materials to fix the issue.

Called locksmith at 8 a.m. Received call at 9:15 a.m., that the locksmith was on his way. Locksmith arrived before 10 a.m. and was done before 11 a.m. Pompt and courteous service.

Sacramento Economy Lock & Key provided excellent service. I called on Friday for an appointment and their technician was at my house on Monday afternoon. The service call was only $65. The technician was professional and worked quickly.

Showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Did a couple of extra things...fixed a "stuck" lock, reversed a lock/doorknob plate that had been put in backwards, and swapped a deadbolt and handle lock on a set of french doors so they matched (prior to the rekey the deadbolt on one door matched the handle lock on the other...) Gave some good advice re: deadbolts vs. handle locks and what's really necessary. No complaints and would definitely use the company again.

I placed a call to Mary @ 8:00 am and told her I needed my front door re-keyed before 1100 am. She was able to accommodate the request understanding the urgency of my situation. My lock was re-keyed by 1030am. Tony was professional and efficient. I was very satisfied with the job and highly recommend Economy Lock and Key.

I hired John Ferrell, owner of Sacramento Economy Lock and Key (I am now a repeat customer) to rekey our locks when my fiancé and I first bought our home. John and co-worker James initially performed a variety of tasks for us: including installing a marvelous gate lock which also locks from inside the yard (great for the safety of our young grandchildren), James carefully installed charlie bars for our sliders that matched our white window frames, They also brought from their supplier enough aluminum window locks to cover all our windows. The job was professionally performed to our complete satisfaction. I hired Economy Lock and Key again mostly recently - which is the date of service for this review - to install a new patio door lock to replace the old one which was no longer working properly. John graciously shopped for the part for me. As well, John installed an interior door-guard for our front door - for which he used hardened screws. I am impressed by the high quality of workmanship and care demonstrated by John Ferrell and his team. I highly recommend their locksmith services.

Called on Friday for a Monday appointment. Received a courtesy call Monday morning to confirm appointment. Technician arrived, performed a secuirty evaluaiton providing some additonal tips. Then got to work rekeying 5 locks and providing new keys.

James was very friendly and professional. Evan when he had trouble pulling off the old lock he persevered.
