The lady that I talked to was pleasant, but they could not give me a prorated refund for the deal because I only needed 5 locks not 8. They should have another deal that offers 4 locks to be re-keyed with each additional lock at an additional charge. It would be more customer friendly to have other options rather than 8 locks. They were not willing to work with me at all to maybe charge a lower price for only 5 locks but still honor the discount from the deal.

We couldn't ask for better service. They were helpful, prompt, came out the day of, and waited for us as we were running behind. James was incredibly friendly and patient making the whole process smooth. For any locksmith needs we will be contacting them again.

He arrived on time and saved my day by replacing my broken key and repairing the lock.

They responded quickly to my call, showed up on time, and did good work. My house-sitter locked herself out while I was gone and another locksmith had to remove the doorknob for her to get back in. I took advantage of this to make both locks (knob and bolt) keyed to the same key.

After calling the safe company with no satisfaction I called Economy lock and key and Mary and John were awesome from the get-go! Their son Tony came the following morning and got the safe open. Very nice people, very fair prices and I highly recommend them! A+++

I used this company to gain entrance to my home after I'd lost my keys. First thing I liked was a helpful person answered the phone, not a recording. Locksmith was right on time, friendly, competent and efficient.

My front door lock froze and wouldn't move. On a Friday morning I called Economy Locksmith and spoke with Mary. Very knowledgeable. She indicated their service may not be able to come out that day, but would definitely try. If not able to come out, they would be out on Monday. She would call let give me an update within the hour. She called within the hour and by 10:30 am my front door lock was repaired. Price was reasonable. LOVE THIS SERVICE!!! They did exactly what they said they would do when I called. You can't ask for more than that. This company is now my "go-to" locksmith. Heartily recommend them!

Mary was very friendly and professional. She had me talk to John, who would be able to answer the questions about my specific lock. John provided me with the information and then Mary was able to schedule us for the following morning. John and his helper appeared at the door right on time. They were professional, friendly and courteous. They completed the job very quickly and efficiently and even provided us with a spare key since we are part of the Angie's list family. We were very satisfied. We will use them again and refer them to our friends. Thank you Mary and John!

Initially encouraged us to try to call the lock manufacturer as the finish on all locks had deteriorated and he thought we might be able to get replacements for free. Unfortunately the manufacturere did not provide a lifetime warranty at the time the locks were installed. But it was nice of him to suggest that as he could have just done the work, pocketed his fee and gone on his way. On the day of the appointment he showed up exactly on time, did the work quickly and completely and made some other good security suggestions.

Economy was very flexible to move up my service date to the day after Thanksgiving to accomidate my schedule. The showed up when they said they would and did a professional job.

I had placed the all on Sunday 8 December for a call back on Monday . Mary called on Monday and said she would have someone out within the hour. Tony showed up and did a great job, and completed the job. After he left we forgot to tell him about the garage door, called Mary back and Toni was back in a half hour. He finished that. What a nice guy very good worker.

Re-keyed 3 locks, installed new faceplate for garage deadbolt. Would definitely use their service again. Everything was neat and tidy.

. I found the company on Angie's List and was impressed with reviews. They were able to schedule an appointment for next day (this was not an emergency situation). I got a call to say when they would be here and arrived right on time (within a time frame I had set). Two men came because one learned how to program keypad. They were both very professional and very nice. They did the work quickly and had me try out the door openers on the keypad and in my car.. Noticed my security screen door lock was loose and upside down so fixed that at no charge. I forgot that a security check came with it but I received suggestions for securing my house. I would give then A+ if I could. Absolutely would call again.

Very good communications. They work with their customers to accommodate schedule. They also try to match the best tech for the job. Mary shuffled her schedules around when she found out that I had a cabinet lock that needs to be re-keyed as well. She assigned the tech that had the most experience with the cabinet lock. Very prompt and professional. Will definitely hire again!

I had used this locksmith about a year and a half ago and had a good experience, so I gave them another call when I had two new back door locks I needed to have re-keyed. I called at 8 am and they had an unexpected opening at 10 am. The locksmith called about 9:50 am to tell me he was running a little late, but he was there by 10:15 am - appreciated the heads up. He re-keyed the two Schlage locks, cut me a new key (for free) to have as a spare, and even gave me $10 off because I said I'd used them before and found them on Angie's List. I was very happy with the responsiveness, timing, service, and price.

I have been procrastinating about writing this review (my issue, not Economy's); however, today's service response has motivated me to share our excellent experience with this firm. On the original call, the locksmith arrived promptly as scheduled, performed all requested work quickly, and left no mess for us to deal with. He checked that everything was performing correctly before he left and ensured that we were satisfied. Today, more than 2 months later, my sister found she could not open the security door from inside. When called, Economy contacted one of their locksmiths who was in the field and he came immediately, arriving less than 30 minutes later. He determined that the problem was being caused by sagging of the old, heavy security door (it is at least 20 years old) and demonstrated to me what was causing the problem. He tightened screws and lubricated everything enough so that the door is working again and should last long enough to arrange for its replacement. When I asked him what we owed for the service call and work performed, he said, "Nothing." If there was an A+ rating I would give it. This is excellent customer service and I would recommend this firm without reservation.

Same day service- prompt, proffessional and quickly got the job done. I will save this provider in my Favorites List. If we get locked out and do not have a key- we can go to the office and have a key made for $1.50 since they will save the cut. Wow...Awesome Service.
