I called and asked someone to come out and do a walk-through, take measurements, and provide a quote for various remodeling and repair projects around my home. I made it clear that I was getting quotes from several companies, and all I was asking for was a quote at this time. I made an appointment for "Julie" to come to my home. Instead of Julie, a man named "Joe" showed up. He came into my back yard through my back gate from the back alley. He didn't knock or anything, but just came in. I explained that next time he needed to go around the condo building to my front door instead of arriving through the back alley. I went ahead and led him around my home to show him the work to be done. He was very chatty and kept getting off topic and talking about his personal life. He even showed me a video of his daughter -- I'm not sure why. The daughter wasn't doing anything, just sitting on a couch. It made me think he was just really bad at staying focused. All the other contractors that came out for a quote took about 30 to 45 minutes for the walk-through. Joe was still in my home after 2 hours. I asked him 3 times to please leave, but he kept ignoring my requests and just kept talking and trying to write up a quote. I asked him to please just email me the quote, but he refused. Joe insisted on sitting there with his calculator and figuring out his quote while I waited. Unfortunately, he couldn't stay focused on the quote and kept stopping to chat about off topic stuff. I told Joe 3 times that I needed him to leave because I had another appointment that was about to arrive. Finally, finally, he said he would go outside and wait in his car until the other contractor left. (Wow.) As soon as the other contractor left (out my front door), I was going to call a friend to come over and help me get rid of Joe, but I turned around and Joe was suddenly there already inside my home. (He came in through the back alley again.) He never knocked or anything. He just came in. He sat down again and continued working on his quote. I looked at it and saw that he had done absolutely nothing on his quote for the 45 minutes he sat in his car outside my home. He had not made any progress AT ALL. Again, he kept stopping work on the quote to chat about off topic stuff. Then he started quizzing me about other contractors who were quoting. He was pushing me to make a decision right then and there on who to hire. He didn't want to leave until I signed a contract with him. The hard sales push was unexpected and insulting. I explained over and over again that, "I will NOT be making a decision today," but he kept pushing and I kept asking him to leave. Finally, finally, after a total of 3 hours, he left (again through the back gate to the alley). This whole experience was really creepy and scary. Reliable, I will not be hiring you. I put a padlock on my back gate. Please do not contact me ever again. No emails. No phone calls. If you show up again, I will call the police.

Many thanks to the Reliable team! After repainting our home we wanted a new entry door to complete our new look. I had done my research and knew exactly what I wanted. My husband spoke with a couple installers at a recent home show and after each came out we decided to go with Reliable. Tim was knowledgeable, helpful and answered all our questions. Once we the paperwork was complete, Wes came out to take the official measurements and give me a timeline for production and delivery. The smooth process hit a bump when Tim called to tell me due to our doors' unusual size (30' wide 92' h-extremely narrow and tall) the Provia door we'd selected was unavailable. Tim spent that entire day back and forth on the phone with the manufacturer and texting me with updates and options. By the day's end we had a solution- a single door with two sidelights in the same style and glass option we'd wanted. Wes kept us updated on production and I was pleasantly surprised when it was done early. Wes and Mike did an excellent job-they were prompt and very professional with special attention to detail. They take pride in their work and it showed. Thank you Reliable Home Improvement. We are so pleased with our new door and would highly recommend you others.

We have used Reliable for several things in our home. New windows throughout, interior and exterior electrical work, attic access and we just finished doing our entire backyard which included ripping up and repouring all of our concrete surfaces and adding a new firepit! They have been amazing on every project. Tim Azevedo is so helpful and knowledgeable! Patrick, Kelly and the owners, Shawn and Ryan are also such a pleasure to work with! The crews have always been efficient and very precise in the work they do. Everyone at Reliable is very responsive and have always strived to do their best and make us happy. We will use them for all of our house projects!

I have now used reliable multiple times for projects around my house and I will continue to work with them. The original project was for replacement of the retaining walls in my home that were wood and were exploding. Not only did they complete the project on time and to specification. They also were able to roll with a last minute change to the specifications. The other reviews are accurate, their prices may be a little higher than others, but they are worth it. Ryan the owner came out when the project was finished to do the final site walk and make sure that everything was done to the point that we were satisfied. The second project was to pour a hot tub pad and run electricity for the hot tub and they ended up putting an addition on the retaining wall that allows it to smoothly transition into the new hot tub pad. Not only is the work high quality, but it is also visually stunning. I highly recommend them for your home improvement needs. The cost of service is for the original project that was the retaining walls, the ripping out of a rotten deck and widening of my driveway.

I've been having home improvement work done for 30+ years and don't think I've ever had a better over-all experience. Every step of the way was managed by the salesman/project manager in a professional and polite way. The workmanship was excellent and the clean up, especially in the kitchen, was spotless. The pricing was fair, everyone arrived when they said they would, they got the job done, cleaned up, and followed up to make sure we were happy. What more could you ask for? I would highly recommend Reliable and have already had them out to quote a friend's project.

It went flawlessly. From the sales visit to the last shingle, it went perfectly. They kept in touch with me. They came when they said they would. They returned my calls right away. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They had to remove the existing roof since there was already two layers, so that added to the cost. I was shocked at the price but I hadn't gotten other estimates. I took them at their word that their product was the best and that I was getting a good value. I am satisfied and happy to have a new roof with a great warranty from a company I trust.

We were pleased with their work. They did a couple of things for us. It was pretty expensive. Their prices were very high but they did good work, and they were reliable.

Removal of old concrete, leveling soil, and framing in done in one part of a day. The cement was poured and smoothed the next day. Addition is wonderful.

As I said above, all the work was quickly and beautifully done.

The work crews were great, they went above and beyond for me. My original review no longer stands. After calling about my crack a second time the owner himself came out. All was resolved and to my satisfaction. I love my new driveway it is beautiful.

A salesman, obviously not a painter, came to look at the house. He was what I would describe as obsequious, even smarmy. He evaded my direct questions and after taking measurements around the house, said he would have the office call to schedule an appointment to discuss the work that needed to be done at a time when my husband was home. When asked why he couldn't tell me then and there what would be involved (time frame, what we'd have to do to protect our landscaping, etc.)he said "Well, this is a big job and I'll need to speak to your husband."

I called on approximately 2/25/16 to set up an appointment for a quote for a wall conversion I wanted done. The lady who answered the phone was nice enough. As she was taking down the details, she suddenly asked me if there was a Mister (my last name). I was pretty surprised by the question and asked her if it was relevant. She became a bit flustered and said no, but that they like to have the names of everyone who would be at the house when they arrive. That way, they don't call someone, "hey, you". Apparently, this woman had never heard of personal introductions. I never got the impression that this woman even understood how offensive, on so many levels, this question was. It was like 1957. I was so flabbergasted that, in 2016, someone would even think to ask such a question, regardless of the intention. I had spoken to three other contractors, all of whom were gruff, construction-type men, to set up appointments for quotes and not one of them asked me about my marital status or who else would be at the house. It bugged me enough that I called back and canceled the appointment. There are plenty of quality, well-priced contractors in the Sacramento area. I don't have to do business with a company that feels it needs to know my marital status before sending out someone for a quote. There is *never* a legitimate reason to ask a woman's marital status, or if a man will be at the appointment, in 2016. Get a clue, Reliable Home Improvement. Highly unprofessional.

Very professional work done in a timely manner with compete cleanup. Will use this company again.

The farther I get from this job the more i find that I am unhappy with and the sad part since my last posting I have never been contacted by them to fix the mistakes or solve my complaints. I am further than ever from ever using them or recommending to anybody.

It went perfectly as scheduled and I was provided with instructions for care.

It took a long time for them to get the job started. Even after many phone calls. They did a lousy job on the finish work, i.e. filling in nail holes and joints. They left a major mess inside of the lower cupboards and left big gaps between the wall andd counter tops in some places but none in others. We called them to ask for a review but never heard back. They called us to ask for a review and we told them we wanted a rework of the cou ter tops. They never returned a call to schedule. Then they called to ask about the rework and we told them it never happened. They said they would get on it right away. That was the last we heard from them. Definitely not a good company to work with.

The job went great, and in a timely manner. Everyone knew what their job was and how to do it. Shawn and Ryan the owners stopped by often to check on things and always left happy. Kelly and his tear out crew and then the concrete crew were great and did a great professional job. Then the lawn crew came in and installed our beautiful no water grass. Did you hear that, no water, no mowing! Allan and his crew did a great job. Seams? What seams, you can't see them! Then the new fencing went in, Tony was great, he stopped by everyday and checked on things too. He kept things moving as they should. If something was needed, he made a call and got it done. The fence is also wonderful, the entire package couldn't be better, we love it! All the guys love it! We couldn't be happier. Different neighbors have been stopping by watching this job from the first day and still are stopping by saying how wonderful it looks.

Jeremy and everyone at Reliable did a great job. The start and end dates were very accurate. The crew cleaned up all the materials after themselves every day I hardly knew there was a project going on. Best of all the roof looks really good, I can't find any flaws at all. I had a portion of my wood shake roof replaced with composition roofing so I could have solar panels installed and Reliable's craftsmanship was so skillful I can't even determine where the seam between roof sections is, which shows how professional they are. I will personally work with and recommend using Reliable for any and all home improvement projects in the future.

Reliable Home Improvement, Inc. replaced a 4 ft. high by 14 ft. long stucco wall, located at my front walkway/porch. The new wall's design creates a small courtyard at my front entryway. The process of removing the old wall and constructing the new wall took about five days. The new wall, supported by cement, is constructed of metal with stucco, no wood. The stucco was textured and painted to match the exterior of my house. The final product is beautiful and built to last. The work was done by Rafael and his crew. They were very skilled and professional in the way they did the job. I have only high praise for them. Everyone involved in this project, from start to finish, was professional, polite, friendly, and on time. I appreciate that they took the time to discuss the work with me throughout the process. I'm very happy with my experience with Reliable Home Improvement, Inc. and plan to have them back for future projects.

The whole process was very easy! Jeremy, the representative, was very easy to talk to and very comforting. He helped me pick out the perfect colors for my home and never once did I feel pressured from start to finish. Everyone from Reliable was incredibly punctual, they showed up when they said they would and were often times early. Within two days Tony showed up to take measurements and the electrician was there the same week to convert my old florescent light box in my kitchen into a beautiful recessed can light system with four LED bulbs on a dimmer switch, they also included a fifth LED light over my kitchen sink! The painter showed up the next week and he did an amazing job, I can't remember his name but he was an excellent worker. He said he would take three days and true to his word he was finished in three days, I was very impressed. I was happy with Reliable and I would recommend them to anyone!

All workers arrived at stated times, work was done professionally and quickly, areas were left clean. All workers were polite and professional. Project Manager kept in touch with me and personally inspected work after it was finished. President of company assisted me with financing these projects.

I cannot say enough good things about Reliable Home Improvement.! They not only did what they said on time & at the price they quoted, but they went way above and beyond. Everyone I came in contact with was professional & concerned that I was pleased with every aspect of the job. From the person who did the quote, to the project manager, to the head installer, his crew, to the owner of the company, they were in contact with me throughout the project to make sure I was informed and satisfied. The head installer asked me on several occasions to look at the work done and tell him if there was onything I had concerns about. There were a couple of small issues I voiced concern over and they were immediately remedied. One day he asked me to look at the gable vents and tell him what I thought. I told him they would not have been my first choice, but that they were OK as I realized they were an odd shape. He seemed fine with my decision, but later I found him making new vents. He said he could not got home and sleep knowing that the vents were not the best they could be and so he was making customs vents that would look good on the house! Now that is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I also had some talavera light fixtures and fountain I was unsure of how to hang on the new siding. He figured out how to secure them AND hung them for me.There is not enough space here to tell all of the "little" things that were done....washing the siding with soap & water, moving a stack of floor tile, taking my garbage can to the street, taking a little time to play with my dog, cleaning up all of the debris, redoing something that didn't meet THEIR standards, the list goes on and on. It is rare to find a company that understands what customer service really is. They treated my house as if it were their own and I was a valued family member. There are a lot of companies that say they have customer service, but my experience is that all the others are "big hat no cattle." They don't hold a candle to Reliable Home Improvement. For customer service, Reliable Home Improvement is the real deal.

They were on time and efficient. They readily made time for our project when a short-term need arose to accelerate the process. They came back later to retouch areas that we asked them to re-do. They were polite, friendly, and professional. We intend to hire them again for more home enhancement projects. We were very pleased with Reliable Home Improvement Co.

The window installation was performed on time and has a very professional finish. The exterior painting was completed in a very professional manner and exceed all my expectations. No issues at all with either of these projects. I would highly recommend this company for any or all remodeling projects.

.The people at Reliable Home Improvements did an excellent job replacing our windows. Jesse, their sales rep was very professional and answered all our questions and concerns. Everything he said about the windows and performance were true. These windows are fabulous, they block out the noise and keep the house cooler than our old windows, we could tell the difference the minute they were installed( even before they were sealed). Our windows were installed by Ken and his crew, they were very professional and courteous, we replaced nine windows and a sliding glass door, they took two days to replace our old windows they did a professional job and were a joy to talk to during the process.
