Very experienced [25 plus years] and did a very good job. Adjusted to my schedules. He is very busy and you may end up adjusting some of the schedules. But he is there if you need him. But for that adjustment he gives a very good price with very good quality. My guess is he charges between 50-70 dollars per hour. Gave me estimate upfront and took no money till job was complete in all aspects. I was happy to get him from the Angies List.
Description of Work: 1) Install heating element under tile, thermostats. This includes verification that it works before putting the floor tiles, noting the electrical resistance for each piece for the warranty reasons and then making sure in works later after tile install. [material are by me]. 2) Two motions sensor lights including the wiring and the switches [material by vendor - 180 bucks]. 3) Extra spotlight with wiring [material by vendor]. 4) Chandelier + another ceiling light in living area [material by me]. 5) Replace switch covers [material by vendor]. 6) Extra plugs in laundry room [material by vendor]. 7)Install new vent in place of microwave [material by me]. 8) Replace many bulbs + change batteries in alarms [material by me]. 9) Fix existing calling bell. 10) Fix new fire alarm for hearing impaired [material by me]. That should mostly should cover it.. He may have spent about 250 dollars on materials.

He came right away and did what he had to do and everything was okay. He seemed pretty professional over the phone. I wasn't there at the time the work was done since this was for a rental property, but we didn't have electricity before and now we have electricity. Whatever he did, it seemed to be the right thing.
Description of Work: He serviced the outdoor panel of our circuit breaker.

Dan and partner appeared right on schedule for both the estimate and the actual job. The outlet they installed looks like it was there when the house was built.
Description of Work: Added outlet behind toilet and feed off of outlet on other side of wall above sink in master bathroom

Dan is an expert, veteran electrician. He knows what he is doing and believes in doing a job right. For example, when re-wiring our house, he noted that our bedroom closets were lit by bare bulbs, which is a fire hazard. He got and installed fluorescent fixtures in the closets. He also has resolved other challenging electrical issues for us. He is not super-friendly, but he is honest and reliable. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Our house was built in 1925 and had some funky wiring. We had Dan come in and replace all of the old wiring. He has also done several other smaller jobs for us.
