They were excellent. They had attention to detail and preparation prior to the job. They finished on time. Price was perfect. It was very, very competitive.

It went very well....could not have asked for better. Jerry was on site with the 3 to 4 man crew most of the time working away at house. They were careful with our property and respectful of our tenant. Everything turned out as promised and actually better than expected in some cases! It had been almost 29 years since the house had such an complete going over. Many of the wood window frames & window caulking were in sore need of repair and painting. Water pooling against the patio back wall of the house had caused portions of the stucco to flake off and fail. They did an excellent repair job all along that wall. The beautiful heart red wood ceilings of the front & back porch roofs were in sore need of sanding and refinishing, a nasty job at best! Rather than patch in the rotted trim area on the garage door, they repaired the rotted areas and replaced all the trim so it is in good shape and all matches. Midway through the job, I asked Jerry about also including the peeling full length interior fireplace wall in the job. We came to an agreement about price and he got to it right away, no problems.....turned out great. While his bid was in the middle price wise of the 3 bids we got, his professionalism and completeness at the initial meeting won us over. These guys are my FAVORITE. They said yes they would caulk the fireplace and inspected the eves outside and the chimney. No one can still figure out how the wasps get in - but this house is sealed up good. They were here at 7 am (because wasps aren't so active at that time) and went right to work.

My experience with them was good. They were on time and gave me an estimate. They explained at least in some detail what they were going to do. They quoted me $2999 for their services.

I received bids from several well-rated painting contractors, and was impressed with nearly all of them. But it was the professionalism of Jerry, the owner of Painting Pros, that won me over. It was clear that he had considerable experience in the painting business and really knew his stuff. He pointed out several things that needed attention before the painting could begin, like areas of dry rot that I hadn't noticed before. After talking with him briefly, I felt confident that he was the guy for the job. It also helped that his was among the lowest bids I received ($800 lower than one bid!). Jerry was very accommodating with my schedule, as I was having other work done to the house which pushed back the start date of the paint job. He was very responsive, picking up the phone nearly every time I called and was a pleasure to deal with. A few days prior to the start of painting, he sent out a guy with a pressure washer to prep the house who was very personable and did an outstanding job. I was very happy with his work, and he set the tone for the experience. The day the painting started, Jerry and his team arrived bright and early. For a team of five or so to be scurrying around the house working, they were surprisingly unobtrusive. Jerry was there to answer several last-minute questions I had for him, and I relied on his professional advice for several aspects of the job. His team was pleasant and friendly, especially Jason, whom I never saw without a smile on his face. My wife and I have spent a lot of blood, sweat, and tears landscaping our front yard, which features an extensive flower garden that runs right up to the house. I expected a lot of floral casualties during the painting process, but Jerry and his team were extremely careful not to damage any of our plants. I even noticed that they had taken care to tape up some Cannas that were about to bloom, I assume to make them skinner and less of a target. Everything was very carefully masked and not a drop of paint was spilled. They finished the job in less than two days. When it came time for the final inspection, I donned my Captain Anal cap and scrutinized every nick and cranny. What few spots I found needing attention were immediately addressed, and the job was finished to my complete satisfaction. The job went smoother than I had even hoped it would. Jerry and his team were great to work with and the final result was beautiful. I would hire Painting Pros again in a heartbeat. Your search is over -- hire Painting Pros!

Jerry and his team were professional in every way! I especially appreciate that he was able to schedule my service quickly- I first called on Monday and the entire two story house was painted by Friday afternoon. Jerry communicated well and knew exactly what I wanted even though I didn't exactly know what that was. My house looks like a million bucks after the stellar work done by Painting Pros. I highly recommend if you are looking for a "wow" painting experience!

Jerry and his crew did an awesome job. They identified and repaired dry rot issues, pre-washed, caulked around windows, and replaced a piece of lattice under our deck. They were punctual, courteous, friendly and definitely knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

We were very impressed with the detail and care given to preparing the house before painting. Old wood, old stucco, and old trim took some quality priming and painting. The paint job itself was done professionally and carefully. Again, they spent a lot of time with the trim and the overall appearance. We are very pleased and would recommend them to anyone who wants professional care and quality.

Jerry and his crew did excellent work in all areas, prep, wood work, and painting. They are also professional and pleasant. Only thing I would say is get some new drop cloths, as old ones were heavy with dried paint and broke a few delicate plant branches. Plants have long since recovered, though. 2014 update, paint job still looking great, Jerry and crew came out to redo one small area of deck and one side of shed, left can of deck paint for touch ups, which I have been doing each season. Jerry takes such pride in his work, he suggested changing the color of deck trim to match house trim and it looks so much nicer. I will definitely call him again for any and all painting of my house, inside or out. Note, Work date is an estimate, can't find original paperwork in my messy files. Also left cost blank, as I can't recall the cost, but I know it was very fair, as I had done research.

Painting Pros did a very, very good job. I dealt directly with Gerry and he was here during the process. I had three different quotes from other companies and the one company came over and then I waited and waited, it took them quite a while to give me a bid and it turned out to be double what Gerry was going to charge me. I live in a gated community, I wanted the paint to be the same manufacturer for the paint that I bought for the house, the other contractor will use a different brand of paint and I insisted, no this is what I want so it kind of like, there's a dig on this company, there's a dig on this company and Painting Pros came over and they were okay with all of them. With them, there's a different level of paint that they were recommending to me and it sounded like it was appropriate for the house. I used the same house colors which gave me an advantage. He's very personable as well. I give them an A on everything. They were very precise, the lines were good, they didn't do paint run-overs and I was just favorably impressed. The timing in which they had said that they were going to take it; I'm talking about how much time from when they first started to do something until end was excellent.

I contacted Jerry on a Sunday and he actually came to my house later on that day. The work was performed the day after that. He called me about a week later to ask to come out to inspect the plank to make sure that a sudden, unexpected storm hadn't caused the paint to not adhere well. My previous experiences with Jerry have been similar. He is my "go to" paint and deck person.

It well well, and though it took longer than we initially anticipated the result was good since our home is quite old it took a lot of prep work just to get started. The paint looks great and with all the extra work they put in (redoing a few areas were weren't satisfied with) as well as fixing our fence (our neighbor had an issue with them coming into their yard to do one side of our house, so they fit a ladder onto the fence itself!). We know we'll likely have them back again in the future when we paint our front and back porch areas.

Paint Pros did a thorough and professional job in every way. Was very professional, easy to work with and accommodating, and showed attention to detail. The owner of Painting Pros worked on site constantly and supervised the work. Installed all lighting fixtures and house numbers etc., that I had purchased. Painted and repaired gutters as needed. Everything cleaned up. In summary, the job was flawless! Couldn't be more pleased and would gladly recommend and use them again as needed.

We had no issues whatsoever regarding the entire process of having our home painted. Care was taken to not have over spray on our foliage. Our walkways were covered to prevent the possibility of any unsightly paint spills. Jerry took great care in painting our front door to our high standards and helped us in the selection of an alternate, more appealing paint color for our trim. Jerry's crew was respectful in keeping their music at a minimum. Finding a contractor with a high work ethic that extends to his crew is refreshing! Their work was exemplary and we would recommend Painting Pros to anyone!

His name was Jerry Shelton. The whole crew was awesome. I went local because I didn't want to find somebody that is thirty miles away. I was looking within five miles because I'm all about supporting locals. He came out the next day and got a quote back to me within a day. I think it was like a month and they were out here working. The whole crew was awesome. They were all friendly. When I went out and asked what they were doing, they explained what they were doing and why they were doing it. They were very helpful and kept me informed about every step of the way which I'm sure they got tired of seeing me out there. It took them two days after they plastered all the windows. They were very accommodating and very nice. They do interiors only in winters so I'm definitely going to call them because I definitely need my interior painted. Their price came in really well compared to the other quotes that I got. When they said 7 o'clock in the morning it was five minutes to seven and they were literally on the property at seven.

Just had the exterior of my house painted by Jerry and his crew. They were very professional and did an excellent job. They arrived on time and completed the job over a 3 day period as scheduled. The crew was courteous and neat, they were very conscientious about the quality of their work, and they did a good job of cleaning up after they were done. I would use their service again.

Everything went perfectly. Jerry was quick to respond to our request for a quote, kept us informed while we were waiting for the job to begin and showed up exactly as he said he would. Quoted price wasn't the lowest or the highest. I appreciated the fact that Jerry was honest and didn't try and sell me on unnecessary items. Prep work included power wash, removing nails, sanding, dry rot repair, caulking, etc. Two coats of Edward-Dunne paint and three different house colors were used and it came out looking great! Jerry and his crew installed the new light fixtures as well as new door hardware. Work site was picked up at the end of each day; work was completed in 2 1/2 days. I have received multiple compliments on the paint job; would highly recommend.

Painting Pros were able to start the job several weeks after first coming out and giving us an estimate. They weren't the cheapest, but certainly weren't the highest estimate we received, either. Rainy weather delayed the start of the job by a day or two (because his prior job was thus delayed), but to make up for it, Jerry and his crew worked through the (holiday) weekend in order to finish our job on schedule, which we very much appreciated. They pressure washed, prepped, and put on two coats of elastomeric, which Jerry suggested we use because our home has east and west sun exposure. Jerry also made several helpful suggestions regarding color choices. After we did the walk-around once they finished, they went back and fixed the white trim paint that had gotten on our black windows, and a couple of other small missed spots. The ONLY complaint we had during the whole process was that we found cigarette butts from one of his painters littered around our yard for a couple of weeks after they had finished. In fairness, though, it didn't bother us enough to follow up with or even bring it to Jerry's attention. Jerry was exceptionally professional, and was there painting alongside his crew the entire time. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
