Painting Pros exceeded all of my expectations. Reasonable estimate, on time performance and in the number of days estimated, all work performed was accomplished/completed in a professional and Quality manner. I have already recommended Painting Pros to others.

We can't say enough about Jerry of Painting Pros! We chose them because we were impressed with his knowledge and ideas of how to protect our home and make it look beautiful. We were not disappointed! They were on time, professional and friendly - all at a great price. They were very respectful and took care to insure our dogs were always safe, which was very important to us. They found some dry rot on the backside of our home that was too extensive for them to repair, and immediately pointed it out to us. We had contractors coming by to give us bids while Jerry was there painting, and he always was conveniently within earshot, watching out for us. Three of the contractors giving us bids even commented on what a great job he was doing! That's impressive! Jerry finished the three sides of our home, and then came back to complete the last side once the repairs were finished. Even though it had been two months, he had us scheduled and finished within 3 days of us letting him know we were ready to go. He helped make a difficult time much better. We highly recommend Jerry @ Painting Pros, in fact, we already have to several of our neighbors, friends and co-workers! A huge thank you to Jerry and Nick for everything!

I chose Painting Pros over all other bids because the owner, Jerry Shelton, suggested creative ideas about how to improve our house appearance. He completely renewed badly cracked stucco walls. They look great! Jerry was conscientious about his work, never cutting corners. I highly recommend Painting Pros for your exterior painting needs.

Perfect. Jerry is a pro all the way but also a nice guy and easy to work with. The quality and attention to detail was superb. I obtained 2 other proposals, 2 from personal recommendations and Painting Pros which was 'cold' from searching Angie's, google , and websites. I wanted to hire local to keep the money in the community. Jerry hand selects his assistants and they work right by his side. Everyone worked well as a part of the team and they always stayed on task. In and out in minimum time without a single sacrifice to quality. Jerry thoroughly cleaned the exterior, caulked and sealed joints, and applied 2 coats of top quality paint. Although I would not have complained, there were several areas that he 'did over' or applied extra coats because the work did not meet HIS standards of quality! It was a pleasure to meet him and his crew, to have them working on my home, and to hand him the payment at completion. First class service and workmanship.

Jerry has excellent work ethics which is what is missing with many companies today. Simple theories of good communication, reliability, hard work, promptness, and excellent painting with attention to detail is what you will get with this company. I will definitely call them again. We received an estimate but decided to go with another contractor.

Fantastic. The job took them exactly as long as they said it would. 3 hours after we signed the contract, they power washed our exterior and 4 days after that, began the project. The work was phenomenal, and the cleanup great.

Jerry and his team do great work. Jerry is very responsive and reliable and prides himself on a job well done. When Jerry came to give a free estimate on the exterior paint job, he took the extra time to identify some repairs we'd need done before having the house painted. We hired Jerry to make those repairs prior to paining and he did a very nice job. We will certainly hire Jerry and his team again for any painting work we have in the future.

Jerry and his crew did an excellent painting job for us. Jerry was very professional and an expert guide when we needed consulting on our painting project. He was thorough and pleasant to work with. Most importantly he doesn?t cut corners and did a few extra things for us because quality was involved and it was ?the right thing to do.?

I didn't respond to the question: "Would you use this provider in the future," because Painting Pro's responded by saying: "Sorry, but we're not traveling to Elk Grove at this time." Not sure what that means exactly. I do know that it is approximately, 29.3 miles and takes 46 minutes from Painting Pro's location in Citrus Heights to my house in Elk Grove. Maybe an hour if traffic is heavy. I have a nephew that lives in Loomis, so the travel time/distance sounds about right. This is not an indictment of Painting Pro's. This is not a reflection of their work. I'm sure they are a fine company and I do appreciate that they responded. A lot of contractors don't even bother. With respect to Painting Pro's, I think I understand what's at issue here. It seems that those of us that live in the southern part of Sacramento County get no respect. It's not our fault. We didn't design the freeway system in the Sacramento area. No one wants (I know- that's a generalization), to come down here. Unfortunately, it seems like the majority of companies that provide construction services, painting, etc. focus on the areas where their business is located or areas closest to them which means if a business is located in Citrus Heights, Auburn, Folsom, Roseville, Orangevale, etc., chances are pretty good -- they won't be "traveling" to Elk Grove. Ok - fine, I get it. I understand. Placer County seems to be where the action is these days. This is simply my view of contractors in the Sacramento region in general because most of them are located in the cities mentioned previously. It would be nice if Elk Grove could benefit from the services these companies provide to the Northern part of the county. Or maybe Elk Grove just doesn't offer the type of potential business activity that available closer to home.

Jerry and his crew completed job on time and at the quoted price. The quality was good and the home now looks better than ever.

We just had a bad experience with another painter, and called Jerry - he was a god send! Got a professional quote/bid right away, scheduled date met, crew showed up (all great guys, super painters/preppers), crew worked fast and hard all day everyday with all the extra detail work (not a splatter on our brick or new roof!), cleaned up at night - the job was seamless and painting impeccable, absolutely perfect. Our house was painted over 2 1/2 yrs ago and looks as good now and still looks freshly painted as the day it was painted. Painting Pros were just absolutely excellent in all respects. We were more then extremely pleased and would recommend no other than Painting Pros!

We contacted Painting Pros after reading reviews on Angie's list and Jerry was prompt in his response and sent us his bid in writing. His team showed up when they said they would, worked diligently for 4 days (our house is 2780 sq. ft.). They did an excellent job and our house looks so refreshed. He matched our colors perfectly (we belong to a HOA and can only use certain colors). We were very impressed with the professionalism and hard work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a good painting job.

This was a big job because the deck surface, railings, stairs, and pergola were all constructed at different times, and were in varying conditions. The pergola didn't appear to ever have had any protection applied, and the wood was falling apart. The deck surface was also worn although there was stain remaining in parts. The railings are only a few months old. Rain came and went throughout the job. Painter Pros pressure washed on Sunday and expected to finish by Tuesday. Instead, the job took until Friday. Jerry Shelton communicated via text constantly, was always available to answer questions. I changed my mind on colors multiple times, which Jerry patiently tolerated. I was very satisfied with Painter Pros' work, and wouldn't hesitate to employ them again and to recommend them without qualification.

Jerry and his crew did a good job on our home. I had to ask Jerry to postpone work due to delays with some other work I wanted to have completed first, and he was willing to postpone. He also worked to try to fix some poorly done patch work on our stucco that really bothered me, and he helped make it less noticeable, which I appreciated. I would use him again.

First day they power washed for about 2 hours. Second day they spent about 8 hours thoroughly caulking, doing repairs, sanding and taping/covering windows. Third day they spray painted the exterior walls of the house, getting two coats on the wood siding in the front. Fourth day they finished painting the exterior walls and painted all the trim, doors, gutters, chimney and stacks on the roof. We've had the house painted twice before and Painting Pros did the best job at prepping the house and ensuring a quality job.

We can't say enough great things about our experience with Jerry and his crew!. From Jerry coming by to give us a quote to the last day of painting Jerry went above and beyond our expectations! The job was done on time and very quickly. The house looks great. They were extremely neat and tidy the whole time as well. They fixed little things we never expected. All in all we were very satisfied with this whole experience and would strongly recommend Painting Pros and will use them again.

This is not the first time we have used Jerry Shelton/Paint Pros and have already referred him to friends, one of which we know for sure has used them and has been as satisfied as we. Jerry and the crew (they) came in, working with a pest report they carefully removed the damaged siding panels/parts of panels and molding and replaced them with new material which they primed before painting. Also before painting they thoroughly masked and tarped the property.They worked as quietly as possible and cleaned up daily. They were completely respectful of our landscaping with only minor issues where there were no other options for foot placement. The painting looks great and they left us with plenty of touch-up paint. Job done, the cleanup was thorough. All in all a great job.

Very professional. Good communications, great on promptness. Came out, made some suggestions to my wife on color choices. Took three bids for the job and went with Jerry, because he took the most time of the bidders. Put "extensive" prep work needed on the wood portion of painting. This faces west and has direct sun for most of the day and it was beat up. Told me what I needed to do to prep my house, such as clearing shrubbery, trees and what should be moved to help him out. Did small amount of dry rot repair, covered areas that needed protection from overspray. Cleaned up everything when done and moved my patio furniture back. Excellent job by crew and dang is my wife happy, which means I'm happy.

I have a 4500sf, 2-story home that needs exterior painting. I used Angie's List, the BBB, and CA state contractor's license board website to compile a list of five painting companies that I wanted to talk to based on their Angie's List reviews. Painting Pros was my top choice based on the reviews received; they sounded fantastic, and I was very interested in getting a quote from them. I called Painting Pros for the first time on Tuesday 9/2; no one answered so I left a message with my contact information. I received no call by Friday 9/5 but I figured that it was Labor Day week so maybe Jerry was out of town for the week or something. I called again that evening, and this time I got Jerry on the line. He wanted to come out to my house on Sunday, but that time wouldn't work for me so instead he said he'd call on Sunday and we'd set up a time for him to come to the house for an estimate the following week (of 9/8). I never heard from Jerry on Sunday - I checked our caller ID and we didn't miss his call - so I left him another message on Tuesday morning 9/9 telling him that I had contacted him twice already after getting his name off Angie's List and that if he was interested in painting our house to please give us a call back. It is now Wednesday 9/10 and I never heard from him, so I can only infer therefore that he is not interested in our job and the $5k-$6k of work others have been quoting us. I was disappointed given the glowing reviews here and the many mentions of how attentive Jerry is once hired that he couldn't bother to call back and tell us that he was too busy or uninterested in the work for some other reason. But I thought it was worth mentioning to paint a more balanced picture of the customer experience in dealing with this company.

Jerry and his crew did an excellent job. The completed work made my house loom much newer. Jerry used his experience and was extremely helpful in color selection and recommended other small projects to make the house look better. I highly recommend them.

Jerry Shelton and crew are true professionals. I got exactly what I paid for, which was a high quality paint job for a reasonable price. Jerry made several excellent suggestions that left my home in top repair and enhanced it's overall appearance. He and his crew were prompt and kept to their schedule. Even their working conversations were "family friendly," which is a rarity in this trade. I thought Jerry gave my home the thoughtfulness and attention that he would have given his own home. I could have gotten my house painted for less money, but it is true that you get what you pay for. Painting Pros lived up to their name!

jerry and his crew was hardworking and friendly and did a fabulous painting job! jerry was very patient and helpful in finding the exact exterior color paint i wanted. i also worried that the roof color would not coordinate well with the paint color i wanted, but he made it work. he painted several sample colors on the siding and gave expert suggestions. the result was beautiful! i love it! they did a meticulous job--from prep to painting to cleanup. i would hire them again for sure and would highly recommend them!
