 + -1 moreI found Painting Pros on Angie's List and spoke with Jerry Shelton. He walked around the house and gave me an estimate of $2,750. I had a basic two-color scheme in mind, but Jerry offered some great advice about the color for the rock facade, and I went with three colors instead. Then Jerry and his crew came out and power washed the house, and began repairing the areas with dry rot and weather damage. It took them 3 days total and they did a great job. On the last day, Jerry asked me if I would like him to refinish the wood front door because it had weathered, so that was the additional $80. Everything looks great and they left the yard around the house so clean that you can't even tell they were there. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reputable, efficient painting company.
Description of Work: Pressure washed house; repaired beam and 2 end fascia boards; removed gutters & downspouts (will be having new gutters installed); scraped, sanded and patched cracked boards; caulked in trim joints & siding joints; finished all surfaces, including rock facade; two-coat protection for all surfaces; three colors of paint used.

 + -1 moreI expected to be very pleased since I had read the previous reports on Angie's List. And it went off exactly as they described it. For some high places where Jerry could not examine offhand, he gave me a bid that said $25 if not in need of wood replaced and $100 if it did. That was the only variable. There was one spot which turned out to be more serious than he had anticipated and he asked for $350 to turn up the corner of the roof and replace the ends of two boards. I thought that was reasonable and agreed. Otherwise, no surprises.
Description of Work: They first pressure washed the house. Next they repaired the outside where needed. Then they put up plastic and painted. This was all done on schedule and with consideration. Jerry's work crew are all first-rate professionals. He does not supervise them in detail because they work as a team and they know exactly what they are doing.

We had a little disappointment with some new shingles they installed (they were not installed in a straight line). However, they quickly corrected this for the most part. Besides this, the overall job was excellent. We are very pleased with the new paint on our house and with the job that Painting Pros did.
Description of Work: Painting Pros painted the exterior of our 1325 sq. ft. house and small storage shed. They prepped the house by pressure washing, caulking trim, filling stucco cracks and holes. In addition, they replaced wood panel siding along one side of the house, along with wood shingles and door trim. They put a new stain on our wood shingles, as well as the paint to the house.

Description of Work: Exterior painting of 2400 Sq.Ft. home plus garage and shed. Repair of siding and trim where dry rot had damaged them. Removal of 50+ feet of decking to expose and repair siding dry rot.

The crew (with Jerry present for all but the power wash) arrived on time each day and were extremely pleasant and courteous. The power wash was done first and the painting began a few days later. Jerry and his crew worked very well together with minimal disruption to the household. They were very skilled and professional. The job took 4 days with them coming on a Sunday to finish up. The finished product looked great. Cleanup was complete with no issues. This is a very professional and trustworthy company.
Description of Work: Painting Pros power washed and painted the front of our 2 story Victorian home. The painting involved three colors of trim work and included decorative railings around 2 front porch areas. Most of the painting and prep work involved wood siding surfaces which needed to be caulked and filled in many areas. The overhead garage doors (3 car) were also painted.

Description of Work: Job involved painting the exterior of my home (approximately 2500 sq. ft.) including the power washing of exterior redwood decks(approx 500 sq ft). The work was done very quickly and efficiently with a minimum of disruption. Jerry was very responsive to my original request for an estimate and supplied me with a detailed work description. The crew was neat and efficient in performing the work and cleaned up the area upon completion of the job. It was a pleasure to work with Painting Pros and would highly recommend them to anyone desiring a quality painting experience at what I considered a very competitive price.

Workers were polite, diligent and hardworking. Tape masking of non-painted areas was very good. Workers spent likely extra time preparing the area for painting. Ceiling was well painted and looks great. Overall, a very positive experience and a good price.
Description of Work: Primed and painted a wood ceiling with exposed beams on a steep inclined roof for greatroom of house.

Also, my work was scheduled for start and completion in a very timely manner. Usually I have anxieties when dealing with contractors; because of uncertainties. However, Painting Pros kept me apprised of the work and addressed any concerns I may have had, which took the worry out of any uncertainties. Mostly, I was impressed on how professionally they initially arrived and subsequently left after completing the work. You would never know they were even here, with the exception of a beautifully enhanced structure that was left behind as a classic example of their work!
Description of Work: Residential Exterior, Interior and Commercial Work. It was a pleasure doing business with Painting Pros. They painted my home's entire exterior; front wall, stucco, trim, doors and repaired a partial wall of my front wall that had dry rot and needed replacing. The re-texturing work had excellently disguised the newest wood, so that it blended perfectly with the original. Every detail looked so complete. Previous, paint companies, have damaged my plants or walkways, but not upon the completion of Painting Pros work. Impressed, I had them paint the entire interior of my home as well, including every detail; the walls, ceilings, archways, trim, and molding. I was very satisfied with the colors, textures and coverage balance that was used in the overall finish. And, because Painting Pros specializes in Commercial Painting. I had them help me match already existing colors to an original color scheme that was extended throughout my business facility. Everyone loves the work!
