Responded promptly to request for a bid and delivered bid within a couple of days as promised. When we called to schedule the work there was a cancellation so they were able to start within a few days. The work went very quickly and we are very pleased. They worked through the weekend and finished in 4 days. Jerry is very thorough and careful. My only comment is sometimes the crew got a little loud and since I work at home I needed to have them keep the noise down. On the final day we saw a few things that needed touching up and it was quickly done. Jerry said to call him if we have any problems and since he works in this area a lot he will fix it immediately.

I contacted Painting Pros based on the positive evaluations I had read on Angie's List. Jerry Shelton, company owner, responded promptly to my call and request for a house evaluation and exterior painting bid. My home is built on a slope and part of the house is two-story in height. The house's Masonite siding was very sun-damaged in a number of places. I was relieved to hear he could get the siding and replace it. My house was built in 1984. Jerry and his painting crew (Jason and Andy) were very professional, worked with great skill and attention to detail. Jerry made a primary paint color suggestion change that was slightly different from the one I had chosen. I went with his suggestion and it was a perfect color and I am so happy and pleased with the outcome. Jerry is very knowledgable and experienced in the painting business. I would highly recommend his company to anyone needing professional painting services.

Called Jerry. Came at scheduled time for estimate. Although we picked the color combinations, he gave us valuable suggestions about trim and accents / door & window color suggestions since this was our first time getting our home painted. Start and finish per scheduled time. Our house looks great. Good clean job with guarantee.

We had three estimates for painting our 2-story house and garage exterior. We chose Painting Pros because Jerry was very prompt in giving us an estimate in February,and then was willing to wait until the weather allowed for painting. They arrived on time and did the job in a professional manner. They matched our paint colors well. My only concern was that one of his workers smoked cigarettes while working, and with the windows open, the smoke and smell got into the house and we are non-smokers. He did stop when I asked him to, although I had to remind him once. This probably would not bother others, but it was a problem for us. We forgot to include painting our gate in the estimate and they suggested painting our neighbor's garage wall, that forms part of our yard fence. They did both for an additional $150 over the estimate, which I thought was fair. They cleaned up well after the painting, and the house looks great. Over all the experience was very good and we would use this company again.

Painting Pros completed the work in the time promised. The pricing was fair and reasonable. The team members and owner are perfectionists and very professional. They have a great attitude and are fun to work with too. They did a great job.

Had an excellent experience with Painting Pros. The owner Jerry was very professional and knowledgeable. I had a problem with the remnants of ivy on my stucco exterior. Jerry had experience with that issue and came up with a good plan to mitigate the problem. The results were fantastic. The house looks great. Jerry and his crew were here when they said they would be and worked hard and efficiently. I am very happy with the results and would not hesitate to have them do another job or recommend them to a friend or family member.

They did interior paint of about 2000 sq ft, plus ceilings. They were very professional, and worked very efficiently, and the final product is about as perfect as can be. Jerry filled in all the cracks in the walls, and where the crown separated from the house settling, and it looks brand new. The final price ended up being a little more than the estimate, because we hadn't agreed on a sheen. When Jerry came for the estimate, he recommended the Dunn Edwards washable paint, and took the fact that we didn't object as approval. I assume part of the responsibility, because I didn't tell him what sheen we preferred. We ended up going with the flat paint. Even with the hiccup, the price was more than reasonable, and we are very happy with the end result. We will be calling them again for paint in the future.

Painting Pros not only did a great job painting the house, but explaining the process and answering my endless questions about types of paint, surfaces, etc.

Excellent job. Jerry's very knowledgeable and a real professional - And Jerry works the full day with his crew! All work was completed punctually and with great attention to detail. Jerry always provided his assessment when asked questions, and gave suggestions but conceded to your wish as the customer - much appreciated. And since we also had other contractors doing new gutter and fascia board/roofing repair, Jerry worked with us on the timeline, and came back (as promised) to touch-up when the other work was done - Again, kudos to Jerry and his crew.

Jerry is obviously a very experienced and professional painter. He provided a complete and detailed estimate and performed the work very well. Beyond that he made helpful suggestions to make sure we got the best results. I am very happy with the work completed and will use Painting Pros again.

Jerry came to my home and I explained everything that I wanted. He was very professional and later called as promised with an estimate. He seemed to have the knowledge and experience to do the job so I went with his bid. He had time to do the job a week or two later when I had already made plans to be out of town. I gave him the key so he could work while I was away. I had not moved into the house yet and was already planning on replacing floor coverings so he didn't need to cover the floors and wanted to do the work before the flooring was done. He did the work as agreed and when I returned from vacation he was finishing up. I was at first pleased with the work but upon a closer look and after I had paid him I saw that the attention to detail was somewhat lacking. I made a list of areas I was unhappy with and called Jerry. He was very willing to meet with me and later spent a couple of hours doing some touch up to my satisfaction. He also helped me realize that some of the areas I was unhappy with were because of textured walls and uneven edges which made sense to me. I was happy with the texture work he did over the wallpaper.

The Painting Pros crew showed up right on time. Jerry and his crew did the job in three full days and did an outstanding job. The paint on the house was faded an peeling. Jerry made it look like a brand new house, we are very pleased with the outcome and the price. I only found two tiny spots that needed a little touch up which they did before they left. They cleaned up eveything before they left. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else.

Jerry showed up right on time to complete the estimate. I explained what I wanted done and that the purpose behind it was as much for maintenance and care purposes as aesthetics. After examining my home, Jerry recommended that we do less work than I had originally asked. Based on the initial inspection he did not believe that some of the painting work was necessary but promised to give it a closer inspection when he completed the work. I accepted the bid from Painting Pros and set a date. All work was completed punctually and with great attention to detail. Jerry called and gave me a final report. He explained all of the work, the condition of the exterior wood on my house and made recommendations for care and upkeep. Likewise, he explained that after closer inspection that he was confident in his initial statements that the extra work I had asked about was not necessary. In addition, a branch from one of the trees at my house was in the way of getting his truck in the driveway. He contacted us to ensure it was ok to prune it. He also cleaned it up and hauled away the debris. I highly recommend Painting Pros and Jerry Shelton for quality workmanship, integrity and honesty.

This was a great experience - nothing negative to say. Jerry came by to give an estimate almost immediately after I contacted the company. On a weekend. His bid was not the lowest but it was competitive. He was very easy to work/communicate with regarding signing the contract and was communicative during the whole process. He provided helpful suggestions about new shutters, painting existing gutters, what type of materials to use, colors that would work, etc. When we determined an exact start date he and his crew showed up on time, and worked quickly. My wife worked from home, on conference calls, during much of the job and they were very respectful of her need for them to not be too loud. Everything was cleaned up when they left. They went above and beyond by removing an old satellite dish, replacing an old mailbox and old house numbers, etc.

Jerry arrived on time to look over my 80 or so year old two story high-water (so almost three stories of exterior) wood-sided home. I was having dry rot work done the next week; Jerry pointed out some areas to have wood replaced that the inspector had not mentioned. His estimate was close to another highly rated painter. I chose Jerry from the high ratings and my sense that he knows what he is doing. One of his employees did the pressure washing and helped me get an window A/C unit out of an upstairs window and down the stairs. Then Jerry's team arrived and did a through job of caulking and prepping the exterior and, of course, painting it all. Jerry is a true craftsman with great attention to detail. Watching him paint the front door was a treat. The overall job took less than four days. I was very pleased with the work Jerry and his crew did, including cleanup. I'm looking forward to using them when I am ready to paint the interior of my house.

Jerry was professional while providing the estimate, color advice, and completing the work. His team thoroughly prepped the home, making sure that all carpets and cabinets were protected. After his team had left I discovered an area that was missed. Jerry came back to complete the task and double checked the rest of the home. Overall we are pleased with the quality of the work and would hire Painting Pros for future projects.

After contacting Jerry by phone, we arranged for him to come by and give us an estimate on painting our house. He arrived right on time and he carefully appraised the job. He was very thorough and seemed to give special consideration to the out-of-the-way places that would need to be caulked, etc. The bid arrived later in the evening via email and was very competitive. On the morning of the day selected to paint, they showed up bright and early to begin work. For two and a half days, they worked steadily. After each day, they cleaned everything up prior to leaving. These guys really know what they are doing!

The rooms look great! everything was done neatly and cleaned up afterwards. Great value for the price.

It went great. They showed up, gave us a quote and explained their work process and gave examples. When we picked them out of three other quotes, we found them to be fairly priced and without sales pitch or trying to sell us something we did not want. They showed up when they said they would, worked quickly and cleanly and wrapped up when they said they would. The paint is looking great.

Jerry was excellent, responsive, helpful and creative in solving our problem - willing to take a chance on patching an old finish for which there was no obvious match. His experience was the key. Excellent consultation/advice on color and type of final coating and creative approach to fixing the TexCote problem (don't ever voluntaril;y use that stuff!!!). This company does excellent work at a very reasonable price. The job was completed in a timely manner. We give Jerry our very highest recommendation. The other high-rated Angies list painter wouldn't even touch the job. The final job looks great and, because the prep was well done we expect it to hold up. An excellent guarantee so we are not worried. I would use this company again in a heartbeat - no question.

He was really great. He came out and helped us with the color. He provided great suggestions. The quality was great. His job was perfect. Overall, the work was great. He was professional. He cleaned everything up. Everything was done perfectly. I didn't need him come back and touch things. The color we had decided was not good, so he gave options.

Since we were planning on replacing the interior carpeting after painting, Jerry gave us a price reduction for not having to cover the carpeting. Everything about the experience was smooth and relatively free of glitches, under two weeks from the time that we contacted him for a quote to the time he was completely finished. We were very satisified with the quality of the worksmanship with a few minor exceptions such as failing to remove masking on a smoke detector and a couple of wall receptacle plates, and a small amount of overspray on a bathroom mirror. Based on our experience with Jerry, I'm sure he would have returned and corrected these items himself if we had asked, but we were in the process of doing other work on the home so we just took care of them ourselves. There were a couple of "add-ons" to the price after work got started to address things that were not included in his initial quote -- one to paint the garage-interior-facing sides of two doors, another to paint a metal security screen door on the front entry. I would have preferred to have had these addressed in the intial quote, but still feel that the price was good for the work performed and the quality of the paint and workmanship, as well as a hassle-free experience. I would not hesistate to use Painting Pros again in the future!

I used them for a second time because they had done a fabulous job painting the exterior of my house when I first used them. They covered everything and took care of everything. Nothing went wrong whatsoever.
