Dave is professional, courteous, and attentive to details. He took the time to answer all of my questions before I had him come to perform work (I asked a lot of questions), and made sure that I understood everything that he did while he was here. When he arrived, the job took about twice as long as he anticipated, but he took his time to make sure that the wiring was done correctly and did not add to the quoted price. He clearly cares about doing a great job. I will definitely hire him again.

He went outlet to outlet with a blow dryer to figure out where the source of the problem was. I highly recommend him.

I was out of power in most of my house and I was at work. Dave called back within the half hour and said he could be at my house in an hour. Dave was polite and respectful. Asked what symptoms I was having and went right to the panel, looked the unit over and spotted the problem right away. He explained the issue and why it happened. He answered all my questions in detail. He completed the project within my lunch hour from work. I was having mysterious electrical issues for a couple of months but everything is working great and I no longer have that doubt and fear that the issues could have started a fire. I was refinancing my townhouse and the appraiser had questions re work done on the property over 10 years ago. I contacted Dave for advice and he assisted me and followed up with calls to make sure all was resolved. He provided several references of firms he would recommend for the project and contacted them to let them know I would be calling. He left a message on my answering machine and even called back the next day to make sure I got it. When I have another electrical project I will definitely go to David Brannan first and hope he is available.

He came out twice. I thought the blinking stopped after the first visit but it had not totally. Had to come out again and changed more breakers. Gave me a price break on second visit. He is very knowledgeable. I was impressed that prior to the first visit he gave me five steps to complete. Based on that he was able to precisely identify the offending breakers quickly. That saved him time and me money. Great guy to work with. i would highly recommend him.

This is the third time that David has been out to our home. He always does a fabulous job. Not only is he skilled at his trade but he also is great energy and is fun to have around. The last thing anybody needs is a grumpy electrician hanging around. David is a breath of fresh air. We will definitely be hiring him for more jobs in the future.

I was more than pleased with Dave Brannan's willingness to share his knowledge rather than charge me an incredible fee, for what he predicted, correctly, would be resetting a GFCI (which involves pushing a button on the GFCI). I solved the problem by myself, but only because of his telephone suggestions. He was a pleasure to work with, and when I have my next problem that I can't solve, even with his help, he's the guy I'm calling.

He was congenial, punctual, and professional. I asked him to inspect some questionable wires I had and install an outdoor electrical outlet. He doesn't do vaulted ceiling work, though, so if that's what you need he provides a referral. The outdoor outlet works well, and the job was done quickly. I would hire him again.

He arrived a bit late, that's not the problem. I hadto correct him on his language since I am not a "Baby" and don't like being referred to as "baby." I am a professional woman who does not appreciate being called "baby" by anyone except a loved one. He answered a couple of business calls during his visit and proceed to spend 15 minutes advising another customer about hot to test or fix her dishwasher (on my dime). I expressed my discontent and he disregarded it. He did fix my sconces and restored electricity to them which was my original problem. It is now 2.5 months later and they are not working again. I feel like I threw away $150 for a band-aid. I have held back providing this electrician a poor review because my complaints seemed more personal than professional. However, now that I am back to where I began (with no porch lights) I realized he DID NOT fix my issue and overcharged me for the service.

The job itself was done by a different electrician but Dave stayed on top of the work the whole time and followed up after they were done. I will call him in the future.

This was very generous AND an extremely efficient way to take care of a minor problem without a service call. But why would a provider do this? A Christmas present, he said!

It went really well. We had called them when we got home from a trip because we had a problem with it and he came the very next day. He showed up right on time. He was very quick and did a good job.

My circuit breaker is older and he was able to tell me what to do to fix my problem for free over the phone. Even though he was officially closed for the day, he still helped me out. This made my day better. I highly recommend him to anyone. Update 4/20/2015: They replaced three worn-out circuit breakers at my home. Once again, they were awesome

Was able to come within 3 hours of request. Our Christmas outdoor lights exposed a breaker switch that had been on the edge of failing. The problem was diagnosed and fixed within 20 minutes. He has a great nose for troubleshooting. Great sense of humor. Gives the customer a wonderful feeling of confidence that the problem has been fixed properly. Just as important - he makes a habit of calling the next day to assure that everything is total functional and that the customer is satisfied.

I called Dave about flickering lights in my house. He correctly diagnosed over the phone that the problem was likely in the wires leading into the home, which SMUD services. He further advised me to call SMUD right away since they would probably be out to correct the problem even before I left for a Thanksgiving trip. He was correct on all accounts, and he saved me the cost of a service call. He even followed up with me on the phone to confirm that my problem was fixed. He was extremely helpful.

Company was not able to come to our home as soon as we needed someone so he recommended another company in our area who came out early the next morning and solved the problem. Owner also did a follow up call to make sure we were helped. Appreciated the recommendation and the followup. Will call this company when we are ready to further fix our electrical issue.

I called Dave on a Saturday to ask if having a broken circuit breaker was dangerous. He was very helpful over the phone and assured me that I was safe until he could fix it if I wanted him to. He was up front with his fee, he charges $150/hour and suggested that if I have any other electrical problems, this would be a good time to fix them also. I told him about the sensor light and he suggested that, to save time, I have a new one on hand if he cannot repair the old one. Dave is very personable and professional . . . I felt like he was a friend that just stopped by to help me fix a few things. I will gladly recommend him to family and friends and won't hesitate to call him again for any electrical problem.
