Description of Work: OK, first let me say that it was NOT Brannan who did the work. He had a family emergency and referred me to another electrician named: Jones Electric - 1414 Roaring Camp, Plumas Lake, CA |To confuse matters even further, Rich Jones sent his father, Rich Jones Sr. to handle my problem. It was my good fortune because Sr. taught his son everything there is to know about electricity. |It took him all of 10 minutes to locate the wiring problem in a circuit far from the one that was non-functional. Very fast, very professional and very inexpensive.

Description of Work: While traveling outside of the country. I called them and they were able to address our need when we were not there.

Description of Work: John replaced a light fixture in the carport and set it up to come on at night and go off in daylight. He did the same for my patio light at my request though that is not what he was scheduled to do. His service was thorough and I felt that the price was very reasonable.

Description of Work: Of all the contractors I have ever called for any reason ,Dave was the BEST! |He arrived on time,he went right to our problem and had it fixed in less than an hour. |It was an awesome experience since I didn't have to wait as I always do for other contractors .But the best part is since he knows how to troubleshoot electrical problems he had our air conditioner running,the kitchen working and the outlets in two of our rooms working in no time.

Description of Work: David answered some questions regarding our lighting in the kitchen, (changing fluorescent bulbs) which saved us a trip chg.

Description of Work: Changed electrical socket. It went well. It stopped the sparking from the outlet.

Description of Work: I called him in the morning and he told me was sick. He told me to call another electrician (He gave me a name). I went outside to the electrical box and finally found the switch to reset. He called back and said he felt ok to come do the work. I told him it was done. He asked what kind of electrical box I had and I went back outside to find out. He told me it was a "cheap" box (I've been in my house for 24 years with no problems). He said for $165 he would come out and look at it. I explained that I had already fixed the problem and there was no need. Nothing makes me madder than someone being critical of the work that has been done on my house. I would never use this provider.

Description of Work: Changed out Circuit Breaker

Description of Work: removed and installed new smoke alarms. helped trouble shooting new alarms which were defective. supplier provided new alarms and dave installed them promptly.

Description of Work: Was not able to provide the service that we needed but found us someone who could and got them to us that day. Super Personable and knowledgable. Gave us information and advice over the phone. So helpful!

Description of Work: I called him in the morning and he was able to come to my home that same day in the afternoon. Mr. Brannen was able to diagnose and replace the defective GFI that had shut down all my exterior electrical outlets. In addition he installed a dimmer switch in my kitchen. He worked quickly and explained what he was doing and why. Very pleasant man.

Description of Work: Now this is service. Mr. Brannan was unable to do a small job for me one saturday morning. But he made some calls and put me in touch with an electrician who could do the job. I can't comment on his work or punctuality, but I'd have to think it would be first rate. I've kept his number and do not need any others.

Description of Work: I have an older home with knob and tube wiring. The electrician I hired to fix my kitchen light was unfamiliar with K&T so referred me to Dave. Dave was able to give me the name of a local contractor who was familiar with this type of wiring. Dave also took the time to answer some additional questions I had about safety and provided me with another person who could help me. Dave is very personable and knowledgeable and I would certainly recommend him.

Description of Work: I called with an electrical question, and when I described it, I was told of a possible easy fix. I tried it and it worked, he saved me a visit out and was very helpful.
