He explained everything to us. He did a very good job on it.

Very well. Told me he could come out in the afternoon, which he did. Diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the faulty part. Checked the GFI circuit in the house after changing the circuit breaker in the breaker box to make sure everything was working as it should be. Very nice guy.

He was good overall. It was a difficult job, and he worked very hard to get it replaced. The price was very reasonable, and they made it easy to get an appointment scheduled.

This company didn't really want to do the work. They made that clear by quoting an exorbitant fee and generally indicating what a pain it would be.

Dave Brannan returned my phone call within one hour. We scheduled the inspection of work to be performed. Arrived the next day as scheduled, evaluated the scope of work to be done. Dave communicated in simple-to-understand terms and had good dialogue with us. We scheduled him to arrive next week to do the work. He kept in touch by phone to confirm the appointment. Dave showed up on time and was ready to go to work immediately. The job was completed to our satisfaction with the time and materials matching the estimate. The best part of working with Brannan Electric was the competency and comfort level with which he talked to us and performed the work.

I was calling a number of contractors, and Mr. Brannan was out of town so understandably did not get right back to me. The work went to another contractor, but I will definitely keep Brannan on my list as a contractor who was interested, responsive, and was also quick to praise the contractor I chose! That's the mark of a pro to me, so Brannan merits your attention.

Our garbage disposal completely quit working. I called a plumbing company who told me to make sure it was not the electrical outlet. I had the [not so] bright idea to test the outlet with my night-light. Well, it was a good idea if I would have realized that one needed to turn the garbage disposal switch on to turn on the light. After running back and forth tripping the switch box, I determined it was indeed the electrical outlet. I called David and he advised me to try turning off/on all 15/20 amps at the circuit breaker, which I did. I thought I heard a little buzz from the disposal (both my husband and I are deaf) and I reported this back to David. My husband also thought the disposal was burning. David said he could come the next day and take a look at it. To my surprise, it was not the electrical outlet, but the garbage disposal itself. David turned into a plumber and used a steel rod to get the disposal going. I was very surprised observing him at work. This is a first for me to call an electrician and receive plumbing services instead! David could have very well said "sorry, not my expertise" and then proceed to charge me the minimum of $125, plus then I'd have to still call a plumber and incur a plumbing bill. However, he stayed and diligently solved the problem. David is very friendly and very personable. He gave me his verdict and that is the garbage disposal is still in great working order. Because I found David on Angie's List, he gave me a 10% discount. I definitely got more than my money's worth because I'm quite certain a plumber would have been quite a bit more. Thanks David! I highly recommend Brannan Electric. I'd used Brannan Electric months ago for an electrical outlet problem and got an estimate at that time for a 30amp RV outlet. When I finally got around to calling him to get that done he remembered us and made an appt to come out immediately and make sure nothing had changed since his previous visit. I thought it was a great touch to do the confirmation appt which he used to get measurements and a parts list for the project. We made the appt for the actual install and he called the day before to confirm and in the morning to notify my of his arrival time. The install went smoothly and was exactly as I wanted. David did a great job and I'm very happy with the work he does.

Dave fixed both of the problems perfectly but, in addition, he gave us some great information and suggestions to prevent further problems with electrical outlets in an older home such as ours. This is the second time we have used Dave's services and have been perfectly satisfied both times.

Before we met, we did chat a bit on the phone on the problem. Dave volunteered information on home warranties, workmanship law, and other info which I found helpful. He also is a very gregarious guy - overall I am very happy with my first electrician experience. I didn't feel like I was being talked down to or being hoodwinked.

He came over quickly and brought the new fuse with him. He suggested that he put in a stronger one than what was there originally to keep my air conditioner from blowing the fuse. He was very knowledgeable. I would use him again.

Dave came out at the date and time agreed upon, and did all the work (some of it quite difficult, due to the nature of the installation of the old ceiling fan) in a most reasonable amount of time. He made suggestions as to how some of the work we were planning on doing (including adding a ceiling fan and light to a family room that has no overhead light) might best be approached, and also suggested a person who might be well qualified to do the drywall work needed. He was clear in his explanations and thorough in his work. He gave a labor discount for both Angie's List reference as well as a senior discount. On top of that, I had planned to hire him six months ago to do some work at my father's house, but my father died on the day the work was scheduled to be performed so the job was cancelled. Dave actually remembered me from that call, even though the work had not been done.

The advice by phone fixed the problem. No need for a service call.

I was in a hurry because my landscaper needed the work done quickly. David came the day after I called, as he promised. Not only did he do the job but he also gave me advice on saving money on my homeowners insurance regarding how my home is wired. He even offered to talk to them on the phone himself! David called me the next day to make sure the landscaper was happy. What a find!

He did an excellent job and I would hire him for future electrical work.

He came in to install the fans. The old fan was put in a box on the front porch for disposal. He worked around kids and family without distraction.

Dave came to my home within an hour of my call. He fixed the problem very quickly and without having to replace the circuit breaker. He also wired an outlet that was worrying me.

I called the number, left a message and 5 minutes later the owner called me back. He couldn't do the work in the time frame needed, but gave spent a great deal of his time making sure that I got some good referrals. One of them was a Angie's List contractor and I'll report on him.

Mr. Brannan responded immediately to my call and let me know he no longer does extensive work. He asked questions and helped me understand what I was getting into. He told me about first calling the local utility, getting the almighty SN #, how to go about getting a city permit, how to find a trencher, how to work with the cement guys, what a christie box is, and he recommended some fabulous workers to help with this huge project. Mr. Brannan was prompt, courteous and efficient. His bill was less than the estimate and he gave a year's guarantee.

I feel SO much safer! I was really worried about it and Brannan electric took care of the problem. They were punctual, reasonable in rates and I felt confident in his skills.

FANTASTIC!!! I called at noon on a Saturday and because I mentioned Angie's List he was at our house by 1pm. WOW! We described the problem and he said right off that it was probably a bad GFCI outlet but he wanted to check out everything first to make sure. He checked the outlets that were without power then went to the breaker box and identified a bad breaker which he replaced immediately. He then went to the GFCI outlet in the bathroom and replaced it after showing us that it was warm to the touch and smelled burnt. Thank goodness he replaced it. He gave us a 10% discount for mentioning Angie's List, and before he left we asked him for an estimate on installing a 30 amp RV outlet and as a bonus he said he'd add another outlet for Christmas lights. Perfect. We'll be using him again soon for that install. Dave Brannan is great and knows his stuff. He's now at the top of our list of favorite people to know!

David did a good job keeping me informed about his projected arrive time. He is very knowledgeable about his craft. The work was done quickly and efficiently. I'm very satisfied with the results.

Dave did another excellent job. The light bulb he replaced is very difficult to remove and he did it without taking the fixture apart, as he had to do the last time. He also made a special trip to the home improvement store to get switches that matched the originals. With all 3 jobs, and a trip to the home improvement store, he was done in an hour. He really knows his business.
