I called him and he called me right back. Over the phone he directed me to do a few things and then try to flip the lights on. When I went to flip the lights on, they worked and he said that the problem is fixed. He never had to come out to look at the problem and never charged me for his instructions. I will be using him for any electrical problems that I have.

David has always worked us into his schedule when we have called. We like how fast and efficient he is. Everything went great!

Arrived on time, got to work and fixed some problems I was having! Very friendly, a little chatty, but I didn't mind because he also taught me how to take care of some of the simpler fixes myself. How's that for sharing the knowledge?! Really appreciated it. Saved me quite a bit of money by fixing problems as he went instead of quoting a max for finding the problem and then fixing it. Nice guy and will happily use him again for any miscellaneous electrical I have come up.

EXCELLENT!!. Mr. Brannan helped me get back electricity to both of my rooms and walked me over on the phone while making his "World famous Omlettes". He did not charge me a Penny.! May God Bless him for his honesty, integrity and help. He saved me at least a hundred dollars. I have his number stored for any future electrical problems. I just had my 3 year angies member paid for already.!

Contacted Mr. Brannan, who picked up the phone on the second ring, and discussed the possible need for upgraded circuit for a new electric stove I purchased - replacing a stove/range 31 years old. We spoke at length. He asked pointed questions re breaker box, asked if the wire attaching stove to outlet is going to be supplied by the company we purchased from, and the electrical requirements demanded by the manufacturer of the stove. I made the appropriate calls to the manufacturer which supplied me with plug specifications (good to check before your stove is delivered - existing female wall plug configuration may not work with new male wire plug from stove). Also had spec sheet emailed to me to verify my breaker box met the requirements of the stove - older homes may require different circut breakers. Mr. Brannan left me a list of items to verify, gave me the name of a wholesale electrical supply company and told me to use his name if parts are necessary which ensured a discount, and even gave me a pretty firm cost estimate to complete the work if needed. We made an appointment day/time since I was convinced I would need his services. As it turned out my outlet and circut breakers were good to go and the company delivering the stove does have the cord to plug into the female outlet. Once I verified this information I called Dave (Mr. Brannan) who answered immediately, even though he was in the middle of a job. I explained what transpired and cancelled our appointment. The man was very pleasant even after I told him his services would not be required after all. He even called back the next day to explaine he looked over his notes and concluded the information given me was correct. This man is not only professional, he also believes in customer service to the ultimate degree. Our conversations took up his valuable time and netted him not one red cent, but you better believe I would use his skill set if ever I needed a quality electrician.

Excellent. Nice to know a great electrician who is so competent and professional. A quick fix for Dave and just great peace of mind for me to know that all is fixed and safe.

Again, while he did not provide repair services to us, he definitely proved his integrity and professionalism.

I needed someone quick for our final inspection to sell the house. He was able to come before the inspection and completed the job in about twenty minutes. Would definitely recommend him.

Mr Brannan was very friendly when i called, he quoted over the phone and was able to set up the appointment within the time I needed. Other electricians wanted to come out and quote then come back at another time for install....I was very happy with the work that was performed, he was on time and worked quickly. It was obvious that he was experienced and was able to explain what he was doing. I would highly recommend Brannan electric and i will be using him again in the future.

Dave did a terrific job for me. The timer works great and the one he choose for me is easy to program which is what I asked for. He called first in the morning to tell me approximately what time he would be coming and then called again when he was on his way. I so appreciate when someone is coming to do work at the house that they let me know when they will be here. I am planning a future job to have him hang pendant lights in my kitchen.

Dave is great. Extremely friendly. Very responsive. Has significant experience with older homes like mine. He was able to address all my questions and help me understand exactly what needed to be done to make my house safe and functional.

Dave is enjoyable to work with and knows a great deal about all home electrical issues and appliances. Discussed possible solutions with me and made recommendations that I felt were wise and yet economical. Arrived early and worked hard. Scheduled him to return and do other work for me.

Dave was fabulous! Original appointment was for the next day, Dave called the afternoon prior and came within 15 minutes as he had availability. It took him all of 5 minutes to find the issue which he promptly corrected.. Very friendly and went above and beyond as he called me after the appointment to offer a suggestion to recoup my $ from pool company who had dislodged the wire during pool construction highly recommend!

I had a gfci outlet on my kitchen counter that had shorted out due to ants. Dave replaced the outlet and offered to look at any other electrical problems I had. The only other problem was a gfci outlet that was miswired to have wall outlets that don't need gfci going through the gfci, resulting in tv and other electrical items losing electricity every time the gfci was triggered. He rewired the gfci so that only the kitchen counter appliances go through it. I called Dave Thursday afternoon, and he came by Friday morning. All work was completed within an hour. He called and arrived when he said he would, and the price was good. I'd hire him again.

Mr. Brennan was very professional and knowledgeable about my smoke alarm system. He gave me a quick fix recommendation over the phone thus saving me a service call. It was something that I could certainly do myself. I would certainly use his services again.

Mr. Brannan lived up to his reputation on Angie's list - competent, professional, and very pleasant. Not only was he able to fit our request into his schedule yesterday when we first called him, he also resolved our non-working outlet without making me feel like an absolute idiot ( we did not check circuit breaker outside as only one outlet was non-functional); he also removed an annoying chirping smoke detector in our hallway with a long-lasting battery operated one, removing the bad one and covering the remains with a plate, and he explained what to do with our other detectors which are or will be experiencing the same problem.

I thought my hair dryer was bad or I had an outlet problem. But there was a plug out in the garage that I needed to hit a reset button on. He walked me through how to do it over the phone and didn’t ever have to come out and didn’t charge anything!

He was very good at communicating. He came within two hours and called me when he had assessed the job. He fixed it in a timely manner. He even recommended someone else if we ran into another scenario. He was very efficient. My tenants were satisfied.

It went perfect. Dave explained what the problem was and also gave some good safety advise to consider in the future given the property is a rental. Every step of the way he told me what he was doing and why which I appreciated very much because I knew my husband would want to know the details.

The person that came out was very nice, polite, and professional. Their bid was much higher than two other companies.

He did a great job. We had him come out twice and we find him to be very reliable. He was professional and we definitely would use him again.

I called because I had no power to my pool pump and no clue why. Dave came to help me late on a Friday afternoon without hesitation. He changed out a bad breaker switch for me which did the trick. He was very knowledgable and professional. I would highly recommend him and will certainly call him again if I need any more help.

As my wife and prepared to sell our house, we had a home inspection completed on the property. The inspector found a few items that definitely needed to be corrected by a certified electrician. I called a few 'highly rated' electricians in the Sacramento area featured on Angie's List. I called a total of 4, and Dave (owner of Brannan Electric) was the only one to call me back the same business day. Not only that, Dave actually gave me a truly accurate quote over the phone - which he stuck too. Dave was able to schedule me in the next business day and showed up on time. Moreover, Dave was really upfront and honest about all the work that was completed and explained in "laymen's terms" what the inspector uncovered, what the California code is and how he corrected it. I am grateful for the work that Dave completed and would highly recommend Brannan Electric!!! I will be saving his number for future use and to share with Friends and Family.
