Knew common cause of my problem. Talked me through finding GFI that was hidden in some built in cabinets and resolving issue without visit. Friendly and knowledgeable.

Dave Brannan assessed my situation over the phone to be sure he knew what the job entailed. He showed up on time, went to work and finished the job quickly. Dave is personable, punctual, and willing to answer questions and make recommendations. I would definitely hire him again.

David was great! He came the same day I called. I called a few other electricians and no one else even called me back. David installed 3 new outside lights fixtures and a timer on the light switch inside that controls the outside lights. I will call Dave again when I need electrical work done. Also he guarantees his work!

Dave Brannan made 2 trips to our house to fix faulty lights - correcting poor installation by original contractor - everything works perfectly now - including remote control for floodlights. Dave is prompt, efficient, reasonably priced and very personable. We will definitely call on him for any electrical needs in the future.

We had a ceiling fan in the master bedroom that needed to be replaced. It was July 2nd right before the holiday and no was available for about 2 weeks out. Dave was able to come out that day. He was punctual, performed his job as expected, was very nice and knowledgable. He even adviced us on how to save our old celing fan. I would definitely use his services again.

Called and let him know we wanted motion detected lighting installed over our driveway. Came out less than two hours after our call, gave us an estimate and came back the next day and competed the installation. He was fast and efficient and extremely helpful. We will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him to our friends.

I followed Dave's instructions later that night when I got home. Reseting the breakers appears to have solved the problem. I called Dave back the next day and thanked him. He didn't charge me and was happy to answer questions on the phone. He actually had called me back to make sure everything was OK before I called him the next day. I appreciate the excellent service and wouln't hesitate to call him again in the future.

I looked him up on Angie's list and called yesterday. He remembered that we had used his services before. I had forgotten this. I explained the problem and he made an appointment for 11 AM today. He called when he had to be late because of an emergency call. After he was done he called again to let us know that he would be over in a few minutes. He arrived and immediately went to work checking out the problem timer. He is a cheerful and talkative man and gave us hints on maintaining our electrical system. At first it seemed that the timer was functioning but in a little while he could see that it wasn't engaging. He got the replacement timer from his truck and installed it. He made certain that it was functioning correctly. He also gave us the name of a reliable plumber in case we needed one since any other problems with the timer would likely be due to plumbing. He wrote out the receipt at the end of the job and included a one year guarantee on parts and labor. We were very happy with his work and would recommend him to friends.

Considering how hard it would have been for me to manage this repair from 3,000 miles away, I felt very lucky to have hired Brannan Electric to do the job. Within 6 hours of my call (on a Saturday!) Dave Brannan came out to inspect the problem and let me know what he would charge to fix it. The competition couldn't get to it for almost a week! I had no power! Dave made it his business to have me back in business as soon as possible. There were myriad hoops for him to jump through. He managed the permit and inspection with the City with aplomb, which wasn't a simple matter as the City's communication/scheduling system was often messed up. He dogged it until he got what he needed. He kept me in the loop throughout the process, so I always knew what was going on. Dave is the only reason my power was hooked up within 10 days instead of many weeks. Dave doesn't seem like the kind of guy to take advantage of the customer. I was out of town and, if he were the type, he could have made up all kinds of nonsense to jack up the bill. Instead, he took a cautious, iterative approach designed to limit the expense of the repair to include only what was necessary for function and safety. He managed the permitting process to limit the risk and expense of having to upgrade my good-old-reliable system to current codes. I really was impressed by Dave's skill and professionalism. He knows what he is doing. He made it his job to get my problem solved as quickly as the convoluted permitting system would allow. I've been looking for a good electrician and Dave will be my go-to guy from now on. Treat this guy right; he deserves it. If you're prone to being a jerk, look for someone else.

So, I'm actually a little embarrassed to write this review--and you'll understand why in just a minute. On a Sunday, the lights and fan in the bathroom stopped working. First, of course, I tried resetting the circuit breaker. That was the extent of my electrical fix-it know-how. I hopped on Angie's list and called Brannan Electric because the profile said they welcome small jobs. (I was really hoping this was a small job!) Since it was Sunday, I had no desire to call an electrician out, but figured I'd set up an appointment for a weekday as soon as possible. David called me back about 5 minutes after I left the voicemail. He was friendly and personable. He instructed me to go hit the "reset" button on the GFCI outlet in the bathroom. This, of course, fixed the problem instantly. He didn't set up an expensive house call, he didn't expect anything in return (except for asking me to call him if I needed an electrician in the future!)... Seriously, now I know better...but how often does a service provider call back on a Sunday AND also tell you how to fix the issue yourself AND not charge you for a service call? David gets karma points for this. Major karma points.

He fixed them and advised me that they were getting old and that I would need to replace them in the near future. He was very friendly and professional. He was knowledgable. I also appreciate that he was very clear and upfront about what he charges. I would highly recommend him to others.

I was impressed with Dave's competence, and he was easy to work with.

The provider was ill, and not able to perform the work himself. Instead, he called another company and set up the appointment for us, gave us background on the other company, and then called back to make sure the job was completed and we were happy. I think this level of professionalism goes a long way in my book. Mr. Brannan went the extra mile and then some to help us out, and I will definitely call him in the future. Recommend him to anyone who need electrical work.

I called Brannan Electric after hours, and he promptly came out the next morning. He came on time, as he promised. He was very efficient and did a great job!

We have had a problem with a GFI outlet that was on the same circuit as our garage door. We had another electrician come out 3 times and he could not figure out how to fix it. Dave came out and was here 1 hour hour and the job was done!! We are very pleased with his service and would not hesitate to refer him to our friends. He is a real character but knows what he is doing!

We Highly recommend Brannan Electric. Dave Brannan came out the same day we called (actually about two hours) and also returned immediately when the initial problem was not resolved. He spent time digging into the problem/s, replaced a faulty GFI and even called later to follow up on his work, and I've never had a service provider bother to do that before. My air conditioning had gone out on a 103 degree day. The heating and air technician determined that there was no power to the air conditioner and I needed an electrician. I called Dave and he came over within an hour. He replaced a couple of problem circuit breakers which restored power to the air conditioner. It was much appreciated that he came so quickly on a hot day. He was very helpful and enjoyed explaining what he was doing. I would definitely recommend him to friends that needed electrical work.

David Brannan provided the most amazingly attentive and comprehensive customer service I have ever had for any home repair needs. My tenant reported the lights were intermittent in the kitchen, dining room and hallway. Due to roof repair prep it seems squirrels - or something - gained access to the attic area also. First, he called me back within 30-minutes of my Saturday call. David referred me to a service for the critter removal (which wound up being unnecessary due to roof project advancing). He then contacted my tenant to alert that I had reported the issue and it was being addressed. Once it became clear the attic was "critter free", he did the job - and found it to be an issue that must have been some shoddy work when the place was built. David kept in contact with me everyday, and then followed up the day after and the next, just to make sure all was well with the repair work. I highly recommend him. And, already stored his number for the next time I'm in need of an electrician. Thank you Brannan Electric!

Very well. David is a very personable guy. He asked if there were any other problems in the house. I said not that I knew of, when he noticed my ceiling fans were rotating backwards. He adjusted those which made a huge difference on a very hot day.

I would highly recommend this company and Dave the owner. Although he was running late, he called to keep me updated. Always a plus! When he showed up I felt like I had known him forever. Very personable and great sense of humor. He had the work done in less than an hour and was so professional. Definitely a company to keep on speed dial if you are looking for electrical work.

He walked through some diagnostic steps on the phone, and decided that an in-person inspection needed to happen. He said he felt bad charging us for the distance involved if he were to travel out to our location, so referred us to a couple of electricians that work local to us. He called the electricians and asked them to contact us. Then he called us back a few times to make sure that they followed up with us. At one point, he helped renegotiate a price in our favor with one of the referrals. Finally, he called after the *other* electrician's appointment to make sure were were happy with his referral and the service rendered. For someone that didn't get a dime from us, he made sure we were well served and our work was done, and done well.

Dave responded to my call immediately and rapidly completed the job. Very prompt and professional!
