George arrived at the appointed time. The new tub spout required a longer cooper nipple than was currently there so he took cooper pipe and soddered a small extension to allow the new spout to attach to the nipple. Through his efficient work and experience, he was done in about 30 minutes. He left the area as clean as he found it.

Owner George Williams responded very quickly, listened to my problem and we came up with the perfect solution for me. He came out the next day and called before he came. He was on time, very professional and completely fixed my problem. Another gentleman was with him and he too, was very professional. I would recommend American River Plumbing to my closest friends and relatives.

He emailed me promptly after I purchased the deal and let me know I was out of his service area. I am just cancelling this service.

They came out to our house the day we called!! His rescheduled his workorders in order to accomodate us because we had been out of hot water for several days. The went right to work and were cleaned up and finished in aprox. four hours. He had to replace the fresh water valve. We appreciate their prompt attention to our plight!! The plumber removed and replaced a faucet that had been repaired previously. It had leaked so long that the bottom of the fixture was rusted. I supplied the new faucet, which he installed masterfully. He scraped away residue on the sink, so the new faucet was installed on a clean surface. When he was completed with the faucet installation, he checked for leaks or signs of rust from the entire area, and discovered that the garbage disposal was cracked. The fitting was rusted where it had been leaking. I agreed to a new disposal and paid $200 for all parts and labor. I am very satisfied with the work completed and would hire this company again.

Once I explained what I needed done, he went from one "fix" to another and was here for about an hour.

George came totally prepared with parts needed and a towel to protect the shower floor. He was efficient, courteous and professional. We would definitely use him again. We appreciated his senior discount.

He arrived on time, did the work I requested. Prices above the "deal" were very reasonable so I had him do extras while he was here. Very clean, left no mess, took old parts with him. I would use him again.

The provider was a little late at first. My appointment was at 11:00 a.m. I didn't hear from him so I called him at 11:30 a.m. He was running a little late and finally arrived around 12:15 p.m. Once George arrived at the house, he was personable and worked quickly. He apologized for being late. He had a busy morning. He inspected the toilets in the house. He replaced the flappers for each toilet. Since I lived in a hard water district, George advised me to replaced the flappers more often. He also flushed out my water heater as well. He inspected the faucets and sinks inside and outside the house. He noticed my garbage disposal unit is leaking. I have set up a future appointment with him to fix that. Overall, I am satisfied with the experience.

George from American River Plumbing was great! He was very friend, professional, and flexible with scheduling. After setting up our original appointment, I had a work conflict and he happily accommodated my schedule change. My husband and I have had issues with our sink since we moved into our house a year ago. George is the THIRD plumber we have hired to fix it. He quickly identified the problem, provided a replacement part (at no additional cost!), and quickly made the repair. We are thrilled to have finally found a good plumber and will definitely be using American River Plumbing in the future. Thank you, George!

What a wonderful day Sept. 2, 2014 was!!! That was the day that we met George Williams of American River Plumbing!!! He called and was running ahead of schedule and asked if it was alright to come early - of course, I loved that!! When he arrived he was very cordial, introduced himself and immediately went about correcting our problems. Our biggest problem was a small " creek" starting on our back patio. We thought for sure this was going to be caused by a broken pipe under ground and a very expensive project. Turned out it was nothing more then condensation from our air conditioner. He quickly located the problem and corrected it. What a life saver he was!!! I was leery before his arrival because of bad and expensive problems with plumbing in the past. I am now no longer leery and know just who to call for any plumbing problems. GEORGE WILLIAMS OF AMERICAN RIVER PLUMBING.!!!! If you have plumbing problems, do not hesitate to call George!! Once he got hold of us (took two full days because he was overwhelmed with responses to the Big Deal) he was very pleasant and responsive, messaging me to confirm our appointment, and calling (twice) to give me an update on his ETA. He kept me informed about the problem with the shower faucet before proceeding and efficiently finished up the work on the sink faucets. He also comped me for the parts since he took so long to call me back on the Big Deal. Good work

I contacted George on Monday to verify our Thursday appointment. Early Thursday he called to say he was still working on a difficult job and would like to schedule for early Friday, which we did. George showed up ready to work. He was prepared, understood what needed to be done, and finished up both projects in a little more than an hour. He was able to provide two valves, which I did not have, and reset and reseal both toilets as requested, caulked them, made sure there were no leaks and then indicated that if problems arose, to let him know so he could return and repair the problem. I was impressed with his demeanor, knowledge of what needed to be done with aplomb, cleaned up after the jobs were done. I would have NO problem recommending this company for any work to be done.

He was able to clear the clog, thus solving the problem he came to solve.

He was there early. Gave me options as to what was available. Was professional. Took a look at my sink that was leaking explained to me how I could fix it without charge. The new toilet looks great the price was great and my wife is happy priceless.

He is really really good. I only had him but I had to have him back to do some kitchen work. He did a fabulous job. I can't remember the price but it was so reasonable. It was a while ago. It was like three years ago so I really don't remember the price but I know it was reasonable. He was punctual.

Excellent service. George called and promptly set up an appointment for installation. Had all the right parts, arrived right on schedule, did an excellent job installing the unit as to code. Cleaned up the work area and finished all the work in under two hours. Very good workmanship in all the soldered and threaded fittings. Hope the unit last as long as the first unit installed by the builder 20 years ago. My brother in law is a plumber out of state and confirmed that both the equipment and the price were excellent values.

We explained we weren't going forward with the Big Deal after reading horror stories online of folks who had replaced theirs. We are currently not having problems with our water heater, but it is old (came with the house). Thought it might be a good idea to replace, but found out how shoddy current water heaters are. We called Angie's List to refund, they said we had to fill out this form. I also called the vendor who was very polite over the phone telling me that his experience differed from the reports I had read online. He didn't try to get me to change my mind. I said, I would keep his name on file if something did come up.
