Andre was very knowledgable and explained everything thoroughly. I'd been having some problems with the door and he said my motor was about and the end of its life. A new one isn't cheap. Fortunately, and for no extra cost, Andre was able to make some adjustments to the old motor. After the tune up, springs and Andre's adjustments, it's working great. It won't be a permanent fix, but it's going to buy some time. He also pounded out a small dent in the door at no additional charge. All the work was done in under an hour. I'm very happy with the service I received, and will definitely call 1A Advanced Garage Doors to replace the old motor when it finally dies.

Things went great. He was very punctual. Thoroughly explained his inspection findings and why he did what he did. He pointed out possible future problems as well. He did a fine job and had a fine attitude! Would be happy to deal with this business again!

One of two garage door springs snapped on my double roll-up garage door. Checked Angie's List for vendors. Saw 1A Advanced Garage Doors' "Big Deal," and checked out the posted comments. Decided to go with them as they included the rollers in the price.. Spoke to Vince re the "Big Deal" and the springs and rollers. He scheduled Andrey to come do the job about an hour later. Andrey arrived promptly, was very professional and responded to my questions when I noticed the springs were smaller than the old ones; because of their design, they were just as strong as the old springs. He also told me about the difference between the old rollers and the new. It took him about 45 minutes to do the repair. I am very pleased with the service I received and would recommend this company to others. Thank you Vince and Andrey.

We had a driver in our household accidentally back into one of our garage doors. It was damaged, and I was hoping I wouldn't have to replace the door. I called 1A at 9am and they were out in two hours! Right on time! The technician was very nice and professional. He said he could repair the door and make it safe again. Then he found that the spring was undersized for the weight of the door! He gave me a discount on a new spring installation. He even adjusted our other larger door and now everything works perfectly! 1A saved us a ton of money and even gave us a three year warranty. I'll be recommending them to my neighbors and friends. This company was amazing. I called at 2:00PM and they were at my home at 5:00PM that evening. They worked around my work schedule and knocked out the job in 20 minutes. I had called several other companies to try and get a repair made on my door and no one would even return my call. These guys returned my call after hour and set up an appointment the next day. The tech was on time, EXTREMELY professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be fixed and how to do. He said it would take about an hour and 45 mins later I was signing paper work and he was gone. Could not be happier with their service! I would recommend these guys to all of my friends and family.

Andre was fabulous. He was prompt, showed us the problem, reviewed a number of options with us, and took care of everything at a very fair price. He cleaned up everything and went beyond replacing the unit. He fixed some issues with work done by another company and made our other garage door, which was also very old, work better. Contractor came on the same day I placed the order. Was professional and polite. Fixed my double-door in less than one hour. Door has been working silently and flawlessly for a month now. He included a 4-year warranty. I recommend 1A Advanced Garage Doors without hesitation. If your door works fine but is noisy, installing new silent rollers will make a huge difference. I would call them just for that service.

I used one of the Angie's List deals to have 1A Advanced Garage Doors do a tune up. They were very helpful and I was able to schedule a Saturday appointment which was very nice. They were punctual and did a great job. My garage door has never been more quiet! Will definitely use them again if needed.

A very professional repairman. Gave great explanations of work to be done as well as shared information on material and products that he uses. Worked very efficiently with minimal wasted time except for not having the long stem rollers on his truck. My double door is very heavy. He had to leave for 30 minutes to obtain some. He was very apologetic about having to do that . I commented that I would wait for another Angie's List special to do the adjacent single door. He stated he would do it for $50 more. I accepted. I am very pleased with the service and very impressed that I wasn't pressed or attempted to be sold something else "that may go wrong" soon.

Repairman from 1A arrived promptly was courteous and professional. Explained in detail what he would do. It was over 100 degrees but this gentleman was great. He was friendly the whole time and didn't try to pressure me into some extra service or needed parts. He did explain what could be needed in the future. The service took approximately 30 minutes. I highly recommend these guys.

Andre arrived on time, was very thorough in describing the work he was going to do, confirmed that we had already paid through Angie's List (a "big deal") and asked if we had any questions or particular problems. He went about his work and completed everything in a timely manner. He explained to us what he found and what we might expect in future given the age of our opener. Very professional and thorough. We are pleased with how quiet our door is now.
