I called Town & Country hoping to get an estimate on repairs to an existing fence. During the call I explained that I had 7 posts to be replaced, need a new gate built and installed, and 3 or 4 other minor repairs (that I described in detail). They seemed eager and scheduled an estimate-appointment for early afternoon on a weekday. I readjusted my schedule so I could be home to show the estimator (Wade) the work that I needed done. He wasn't there 5 minutes before telling me he wasn't going to bid the job & they don't perform repair work. I'm sure they do great work and have the reviews to back it up, but my experience with them was a total waste of my time.

I am okay with them. I would not give them a 10, but I would give them an 8. The price was good. They did the work and cleaned up the back, not the front. We still have to clean up the residue from the front. I have only gotten one other bid ad compared to the other bid their pricing was very good. I thought they could have used a thicker wood for the fence. When I shook the fence it was more wobbly than I expected it to be. His response was that the people who do the deck can tie it in together. I don't know if that is true because the deck people have not come out yet. I think they do good work and they came before they said they were supposed to come. I think I would use them. I think I would just advise someone to be more involved and ask more questions about the thickness of the wood for the fence. I think the man is very personable and very polite. The price they gave on the deck was unreasonable. I am not sure if the fence is the best job they could have done. I can't say it was the best job ever done.

Adam did not show-up for the fence estimate appointment at my home. It's hard to imagine Town & Country earning an Angie's List A rating with this kind of service.

I had a hard time deciding between Adam and the company that did the job. Ultimately it boiled down to the other person being very slightly less expensive and being able to do the job sooner. It the other company had not been able to do the job right away, I might have gone with this company. I am guessing these two companies go head to head often and sometimes one is more expensive and sometimes the other. The company I went with said this company is good, also. I like it when folks in the same business are honest and fair about each other and I respect both of them.

Adam arrived on time, we reviewed the job. He and his crew worked very efficiently, and although I had added an additional gate, they finished the job in one day. The quality of their work was very professional, and my neighbor and I were very satisfied.

Adam and his assistant took out the old fences and put in new ones with two new gates at a rental. Now the rental looks better than my home (my wife is heartbroken). Adam is booked, and he scheduled my job three weeks out. He came on the scheduled day (weather is always a factor, in this case, no rain so on time). He demolished other old, unrelated fencing that another contractor wouldn't touch. They were fast and professional. I found him on Angie's list. Pre-Angie's list, I let my neighbor talk me into using his landscaper to replace our fences. Big mistake. Never use a landscaper to build a fence, and always ask if the guy giving the quote (and picking up the check) will actually do the work (nowhere to be found). What a disappointment. The crew he sent barely had a clue as to what they were doing (at least the posts were straight, firmly planted, and on center, but the rails were installed 90 degrees wrong and the planks were straight). Adam wrote the quote (responsive with email questions and details), and did all the work with one assistant (and received the check). I've asked Adam to quote re-doing the landscaper's work (the fencing planks and rails). Adam even fixed a gate for me that they mis-built. Now it opens and shuts easily. This is what I wanted Angie's list for, is to find reputable, good quality workmanship. I found it with Adam and Town and Country Fence.

They got the work done, it was good quality, and it was on time. They didn't bother us or the tenant. It is a pretty good price for a 66 foot fence.

Adam and his helper arrived on time and finished the fence in a timely manner the same day. They did a very good job. They used pressure treated 4 x 4's set in concrete with a deep hole with gravel in the bottom to assist with drainage. The concrete was done as a and quot;domeand quot; to also help with drainage. The ft. boards are overlapping to so it looks nice from both sides and the top consists of square type trellis. I stained the fence myself. The fence consisted of a variety of wood types so the stain needed to in a solid color.

We got a bid from them. They did what they said they are going to do. They were very professional and positive but we just chose to go with another company.

It went really well. They did a really good job and it went very fast. I would recommend.

We had Town and Country Fence install a fence on both sides. The price was fair and they did an excellent job.

Things went well and I was quite satisfied. I was happy with the end product of their work. They had competitive pricing. The owner showed up on time and answered all of my questions and cleared up any doubts I had.

I got the orginal referreal from a good quality, local lumber yard and had no idea a fence builder could build outdoor, wood stairs. I was impressed how neat and organized they worked, and swept up each day before leaving. What a pleasure to do business with and we love the results.

He was very professional and courteous. They got the work done on time and even did some extra work on the side. He did everything he said he would and his customer service was excellent. He was the best out of the four other estimates that we received.
