Description of Work: My first contact with the company came on the phone. Jackie answered the phone and was able to answer all my questions concerning replacing my 4 skylights. I was very specific regarding what needed to be done as I had a general contractor advise me. I did not want a new installation but a swap out. Jackie stated Gene would come to evaluate the current skylights. He arrived on time and was friendly, courteous and professional. He assured me a simple swap out was appropriate. Within days I had an estimate and sent the deposit for the work. My old skylights were plastic and worn out. I'm replacing them with double pane glass. All through this process I have been kept informed about the progress. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing roofing and related services. This is a local company that embodies customer service.

 + -1 moreGreat! Jackie in office was very prompt, helpful... Gene was very knowledgeable about skylights and building/roofing too. Price was competitive , got 3 other quotes. In process of getting roof quote from them too (tile roof)
Description of Work: Removed an old, not up to code, plastic 4x4 skylight and replaced with high end, energy efficient, velux glass 4x4 skylight. Didn't have them do roof flashing since roof getting replaced in a month or so (oct 2013 likely).

 + -1 moreWhat a pleasure it was to work with professionals. I have been a little disappointed on some previous projects but this one was a delight. I must admit to it took longer than we had originally thought and been advised but this was not because there was no work being done. Following an early and detailed visit we received a quote which I thought was borderline high. But having been impressed with the professionalism we went ahead with it. Subsequently, realizing all the work that was involved we believe the costs were more than reasonable. All involved in this project were very personable and professional. I was impressed with the effort they made to cover and subsequently to clean up the kitchen area each day so that their work had minimum impact on our life. The company was very helpful all in expanding on our original ideas and providing some very good design suggestions. They will also very flexible in making adjustments as the work progressed and we were better able to see what was going on. For once the meter wasn't continually running every time there was an adjustment. The end project is a beautiful addition to our house which has been much admired by everyone who has seen it. It was great that at no time was there a request to adjust the original quote.
Description of Work: We had a fairly large kitchen/family room with the kitchen portion having a drop ceiling with neon lights installed. The project was to remove the drop ceiling and install a large 4x4 skylight with surrounding lights in its place. The major difficulty was that immediately above the skylight area was a valley in the roof meaning that this was anything but a simple installation project.

 + -1 moreThe installer first came out to inspect the job and he said that he could provide us with what we needed. He gave me a estimate that included unknown parts costs. The job did not require these parts and I was not charged for any other material. He came out a few days later and completed the installation in about three hours. The installer cleaned up after the job, he did leave package material for me to dispose of in the trash. He was late for the appointment, but did call and let me know he was delayed.
Description of Work: The company placed skylights in a hall in my home. We had been told that the skylights could not be put in this area due to structural restrictions. This company was able to complete the task with excellent results. They also put a skylight in my father-in-laws home.

 + -1 moreCALLED AND GOT AN IMMEDIATE QUOTE. NO DISCUSSIONS OVER PRICING. PRICING REASONABLE. CAME THE NEXT DAY TO LOOK AT THE AREAS AND ADVISE ON PLACEMENT. ARRANGED AN APPOINTMENT FOR INSTALLATION. THE INSTALLER ARRIVED PROMPTLY AND PUT IN 2 LARGE AND 2 SMALL SOLAR TUBES IN ONE DAY. COVERED FLOOR TO CONTAIN THE DUST. CARRIED AWAY THE DEBRIS.
