While the owner was very knowledgeable, he failed to communicate the details of our decisions with his actual workers. He was rarely on site and often did not return phone calls for days. The workers who came were courteous and respectful and for the most part did a good job. But there were many mistakes I caught and several I did not until damage was done. When it came time to make things right, James was defensive, unable to negotiate and punitive. He seems like someone who has too much on his plate and lacks the necessary maturity to deal with people. I found several math errors in the scope of work (not in my favor) and I ended up paying far more for my flooring materials than I would have had I paid full retail myself. I hired a contractor to manage the job to avoid headaches. This guy WAS the headache....In all, I was frustrated and felt he tried to "exact revenge" for having to fix problems. Not a good experience. So glad it's over.
