+ -1 moreI have called him over 10 times since Nov. and the first time he said he's see what he could do, and has never called me back or answered the phone when I call. Google said that there are 3 things one can do with DG - two are to include an additive before it is laid; the third is to get a substance called Terrakoat and spray it on. I left a message to Luis about this third option and said I would pay for it; but he'd rather not bother. I assume he shorted me on buying the DG since the DG with additives is probably more expensive. I am very annoyed and will have to hire someone else to make it stable.
Description of Work: I needed a patio area in my back yard, which has a very uneven terrain. Luis gave me an estimate of $2300 to put DG to level out the area and lay flagstone on it. He used MY flagstone which should have lessened the price, but I didnt want to haggle. He put in the DG and flagstone and set it would harden in two days. He then said the cost was $2500. It never did harden, and random animals use it as "kitty or racoon litter " or whatever you want to call it.

Description of Work: They broke up a cement patio and hauled it away. They were prompt and professional but did not cover nearby areas/patio doors to keep the cement dust off or clean it up. Otherwise everything was done as expected.

+ -1 moreThe cracks between the blocks were filled, the cap re-sculpted and all deteriorated areas were patched, filled and otherwise repaired. The material is a type of concrete and not stucco. We did not have them try to match the stucco/color of the house because the height of the walls is so low and we are having the house painted, anyway.
Description of Work: I have a short retaining wall surrounding my front lawn and planter that had been poorly constructed by the original owner of my home. It had cracks and was seriously deteriorated. Luis assessed the damage and diagnosed what could be done to restore it. Luis came out early the following Monday with two trusted employees and got right to it. By Thursday, the walls in the front and the back surrounding my deck were completely re-covered and ready for my painter. It looks like new! My neighbor saw the work and hired Luis, on the spot, to provide some necessary work on his own property. I'd recommend Luis and Concrete Creations San Diego to anyone.
