I heard about Jim Cheatam of C & C Roofing’s work and it’s good. I called him first to come out and give me a quote. He was very prompt, polite, professional and the quote that he gave was not really overpriced. It was about a thousand dollars for labor and material to install four sky lights in my patio. He’s personable and easy to talk to. He had to make sure that the people he talked to feel comfortable discussing what they need or what they want. He was very knowledgeable and he came up with ideas. I know enough about building and contracting to know that he really knows what he was talking about. He has not done the work however I’m anticipating good work. With his answering machine message when you call him, he must be a Christian which with a lot of people makes a lot of difference. He’s a very nice person, professional enough and it was like talking to your brother. He’s very friendly, personable and I can tell that he is somebody that seems to be reputable.

I ordered a 40 year roof in the contract. I went to the home and saw the workers were putting on a 30 year roof as shown on the bag covers. I told them of the error. They got Jim on the phone and he made the switch immediately. The workers had to redo about a third of the roof. So I'm glad I checked it out. I just don't know if this was an honest mistake or not. Probably was just an mistake. But it is always good to check out to be sure you get what you paid for with any contractor.

It went very well, I was satisfied.
