Sparkle N Shine

It was excellent, my house smells good & clean, and she came & squeeze me in before thanksgiving, i had her on October & come on a Sunday & she came to do the work. I would definitely hire her again,because she does a wonderful & excellent work

They were fine. They were reasonable in price. They did a good job as far as I could tell. I only used them a few times because I usually do it myself. There were three people who came. The owner was one of the three.

We had a fantastic experience using Sparkle N Shine. Our son arranged a one-time cleaning of the whole house and it could not have gone better. Ownership communicated promptly to set up an appointment time and went over what their workers could or could not do, which was a huge plus for anyone who, like us, has ever been stuck finding that out halfway through a job. Three workers showed up exactly on time and worked for close to four hours straight setting our house to rights. They did a very thorough job and made sure we were satisfied before leaving. After the cleaners had left the owner called to follow up and ensure everything had gone well. Great job and great customer service. Solid A.

We tried several other companies before finding Sparkle n Shine, so we know there are a lot of "duds" out there - companies who over-promise and under deliver, employees who only work when the supervisor is there, etc. Sparkle n Shine is NOT like the others!!! Jen and Gregg (the owners) are amazing to work with, and have the highest of standards for all of their employees. They do great work, are as OCD as I am when it comes to cleaning my house, and respond to special requests and schedule changes with grace. They are friendly and respectful, work around even the craziest of schedules, don't mind my shedding pets, and have totally reasonable prices. I also love their policy that if they miss something, or if you are unhappy with anything, they will send someone out to fix it immediately. If you need your home cleaned, and have high expectations, Call Sparkle n Shine! You won't be disappointed!

This review is long overdue but I was very busy moving when I hired this service. I am leaving it now because I am shocked to find that this service is still well-rated and other Angie's List subscribers should be forewarned. The house I asked them to clean was completely EMPTY. There was no furniture in the house and nothing on the floors or in the cabinets. The previous occupant had cleaned, but there was still a little bit of debris in cabinets and drawers, and a fair amount of dust on the floors from the move-out process. I asked for a basic move-in/move-out that included wiping out every one of the kitchen cabinets, clean the bathrooms, dust the blinds, mop the floors. I asked the team to wipe out the refrigerator and the kitchen trash can. I was asked to pay $15.00 extra for this. Although a team of three women showed up and they remained for a couple of hours, when they left the house was still dirty. I know this because I had to clean behind them. For example, there were still little bits of debris in the drawers and dust inside of the cabinets. I'm not sure that they had been wiped out with a cleaning product. The vinyl floors in the kitchen and bathroom were actually filthy - dirt remained on the floor when I cleaned it again. The bathtub was still quite dirty (hair and other debris left inside). The refrigerator had not been wiped out at all because there was still food debris in the drawers. The only items in the house that were actually clean were the blinds and the ceiling fans (they had been dusted). It greatly surprised me that three women could not adequately clean an empty house, and I also wonder if they actually used any cleaning products on my floors and in my cabinets. Perhaps they only used water? There really is no suitable explanation. I was told by the lead cleaner that all of the basic services plus the refrigerator had been performed even though they were not done. I did speak to the owner and relayed my concerns, including the fact that telling my house had been cleaned when it had not is dishonest. I asked for my $15.00 back because it was clear the refrigerator had not been cleaned, but in all fairness I should have asked for and been refunded the cost of the entire sub-standard service. UPDATE: the owner has provided an inaccurate response to my initial review. She says that she came to my house and I had no complaints, but that is not true. She arrived at the BEGINNING of the scheduled cleaning along with her team to offer me a quote for the entire house. When we spoke it was before services had been rendered. She did not return to check in on her team at all. In addition, I asked for my money back for the fridge (she did not offer) considering that I had already cleaned it after her team left. No need to have someone come and fix it when it had been done properly -- by me. Again, this business owner is dishonest.

Contacted Jen 2 weeks before a party we were having---looking for a one time overall house cleaning. She was super friendly and willing to work around our budget AND could fit us in to her schedule pretty quickly. They arrived right on time, got right to work after a quick look around the house, and finished cleaning everything we had discussed within the agreed upon 4 hour time frame. Best of all, the house looked fantastic! We will certainly be using this service again!

They never called back, even after reminding.

I really like the girls that do the house cleaning. Very friendly. Very good. They like there job because it shows.

Sparkle and Shine is great! I have only positive things to say. They are always punctual, professional, thorough, careful, cheerful, and do a great job. I have recommended them to several people and am very happy with their services.

They come out once a month and clean most of my home

Good job cleaning everything i asked them to clean, and there was a lot to do! They stayed longer than they said they would to get everything done. I didnt give them an A on all aspects of the grade because i found some trash in the back of the kitchen cabinets they cleaned, but everything else was well done. Would hire again.

I use Sparkle and Shine on a bi monthly basis I won't quote a price as its based on the size of the house and what they do. The girls do great work and are always prompt. they will do whatever you ask except windows. I have been a client of Sparkle and Shine for over a year and have never had a complaint

Excellent! The ladies arrived on time, and did an outstanding job.

It has been great. They did a very good job. The price is fine, it's very competitive. They've done everything really well.

We mainly wanted our kitchen walls, ceiling and cabinets cleaned to be ready for the walls and ceiling to be painted. There were still some cobwebs on the ceiling after they left. I do not believe they even attempted to clean the ceiling. We did not notice the deficiencies until after they left. Several cabinets were not even touched and we had to clean them ourselves. They were unable clean any of the grout in the tile floors. They did a good job on the windows that we asked to be done. Especially on the tracks for the sliding windows. They did a great job on the bathtub that had some stains that we had not been able to remove. We had to change the date for the work to be done and they worked very well with us on that. We were just disappointed that the kitchen and floor were not done nearly as well as the windows and bathtub. In doing the windows, an item was broken but, fortunately, it was not of any value.

It went well. Two cleaners arrived on time and were finished 2 1/2 hrs. later. The house looked great.

Company is always on time and very responsive. I love that I come home to a house smells and feels cleaner than I left it and it never feels like someone rearranged all my things. Sparkle N Shine has nice little touches the make the job special.

No problems. Arrived on time. Team of 3.They spent two hours cleaning. In the past we have had cleaners who would only spend an hour or less.

We called Jennifer on a Monday and she fit us in on a Thursday even though she and her husband had to clean themselves along with a crew member who would be working with us in the future. She didn't require an initial visit to set the price but had a thorough series of questions to evaluate our needs. They arrived right on time and got straight to work. They were courteous and respectful and very concerned that we were pleased and we WERE. They even cleared all the hardwater spots from the glass shower which we had never tried to do in 3 years. The dog hair which is always lurking somewhere, floating on the wood floors after I try to get it all, has not been seen since they've been here. Thanks Jennifer!!!

The girls who were proving the cleaning service arrived promptly, were very professional and did a great job. Jennifer followed up afterward to make sure I was happy with their services. I would recommend Sparkle N Shine to anyone. Great job!

We are so very happy with our cleaning crew. Our house definitely Sparkles after they have been here. Highly recommend this service!

Overall it was a positive. Every now and then things were missed, but the issue would be resolved the next time.

They will do whatever you ask them to do but, do not do windows. I have them on a bi monthly basis and have used them in the past. I find them thorough and reliable. Nice friendly girls and do a good job.Will change beds too. |

This service was great! Jennifer fit me in last minute for Thanksgiving as I am hosting this year. My wife and I have two boyzs in sports and a 15 month old so needless to say we are busy, and our poor house suffers. It was a wreck! Thank God for Sparkle n Shine as they came to the rescue and beautified it. Getting under the couches and furniture in my Family room where theere is laminate flooring and in the kitchen shining it up as well. All the countertops were sparkling with the appliances shining as well. My bedroom and bathroom were in shambles but when I got home the bed was made and the bathroom was spic and span with the floors vacuum and mopped. I couldnt have been happier! AND!!! Every Window has a wood blind in it, and they were ALL WIPED DOWN! I couldnt be happier and will use them again. THANKS GUYS!!!
