Interested in wall insulation. Called twice, left messages--no human answered. Never received a reply.

Darren was very helpful, thorough and professional during the estimate process. His workers, Dan and Russ did a great job installing the insulation, R-15 cellulose. They matched the exterior paint well and cleaned up after. Darren said he would use an infrared camera to check our ceilings. Unfortunately it wasn't done with the rest of the work but he made it a point to come back to make good on his promise. All in all, a good job and our home is much more comfortable and temperate now that it's insulated.

I got bids from four contractors. So Cal Remodeling's bid was far and away the best. They came in several thousand dollars under the others and they were very professional, competent and easy to work with. They also did their work promptly, getting everything done in one week. We had one contractor who wanted to take three weeks and even then couldn't commit to that. So Cal Remodeling also came recommended to me by one of the most respected people in the energy upgrade business, and I'm glad to say they lived up to their reputation.

Used them for my Mom's 1950's home. Great experience from start to finish. Quality work and the crew was on time, polite and very clean. The house is more comfortable than it's ever been. I would definitely recommend So Cal.

Our house was built in 1963 and always too cold or too hot. We called So Cal Remodeling out to take a look at our insulation and Darren suggested air sealing and insualting our attic and insulating our walls. The price seemed reasonable for how much work was going to be done and when we called around it was in the ballpark of other insulation companies. We decided to have the work done and worked with his office to schedule. Since the work was done our home has stayed very comfortable even without running the furnace. The crew was on time, respectful and did great work. I would recommend Darren and So Cal Remodeling to anyone needing to upgrade the efficiency of their home.

They were very good. It is a messy job, there was dust everywhere, so be prepared for that. They did as much cleaning as possible, but there was some dust left over. We are glad we had it done and they worked very, very hard.
