After several estimates we decided to go with Pro Choice to paint the exterior of our home. Robert was very informative and helpful in explaining the work to be done and their crew did a really great job and paid attention to details we had not thought of plus going over their work to make sure they hadn’t missed anything. They completed the work in three days! They were very professional and their attention to detail was truly amazing. They have fair pricing and do quality work. Thank you!

They did great work, showed up as promised and did the work very quickly. A very positive experience with a contractor. Erik and Robert were great and their employees were very polite. Phone calls were promptly returned and they worked with us on samples and construction issues.
Description of Work: We had Pro-Choice Decor paint our house (stucco and wood paneling, one story) and do some carpentry work on deteriorated wood siding. They were referred to us by friends that had used them and were highly satisfied.

It went great!!! They started on Mon June 6, 2016 and wrapped all painting and roof by Tue June 14, 2016. Because they don't work on Sunday's. Masking house takes time because our house size is 4700-4800sq ft and we have 71 Windows & a pool that they were very conscious of. They were very efficient and professional. Pleasant to work with and always available for me to communicate with anytime I had a concern. They listened to exactly what we wanted and had great attention to detail. Also they kept work area well maintained, and cleaned up when everything was finished.... We'd definitely hire them again in a second. They actually did our neighbors house 2 streets down from us off DuPont St, and their home looked so beautiful after!! So I went and knocked on their door and they referred me to Robert at Pro Choice Decor! Robert and Eric were amazing and there work crew were very polite, professional and extremely hard working.... Oh also I went out and bought new lights for around our house and for the front of garage and the hung everything up new for me!!!
Description of Work: Pro Choice Decor painted the exterior of our house. House built in 2007, 4700sq ft, first time we've had to paint our house since owning it since 2007. They also fixed some tiles on our roof that were broken and damaged from over the years. Since we live in the North part of Rancho Cucamonga where it is often hot and can be extremely windy. So our house has taken a beating over the years.

BEWARE OF THIS CONTRACTOR: They came out and gave us an estimate and we set a day for the work to begin. They showed up and the person which gave us the estimate (Robert) came with the owner of the company (Eric) and a crew. They looked at the job and stated that they needed to reschedule as they needed additional manpower. We were fine with this and asked Robert to give us an estimate for additional work. Robert set an appointment for 10:30am, at 11:00am he still had not shown up. I called him from the phone number I had previously called him from and got no answer. I waited a couple of minutes and called from one of my two cell phone's. He immediately picked up the phone and stated he had a flat tire and apologized for not being there. I asked when he could come to provide the estimate and he said he could be there at 1:30pm. I agreed, and at 2:15pm he was still not there. I called him again from my cell phone and left a message. I received no response. I called again at 3:45pm and 4:30pm left messages stating we were still waiting and had been waiting all day. I received no return phone call. At 7:05pm I sent him a text message stating that we would like to know what happened and to inquire if they were going to keep the appointment which was rescheduled do to needing additional manpower. I received no response. I waited two days and then called Robert from my office phone. He stated that they were not interested in the job and that "I don't own the company" I expressed to him my disappointment and advised him that he had lied to us repeatedly. He said that Eric just didn't want to do the job. I expressed to him that I felt this was extremely unprofessional and that I had researched them on their webpage and found the they had posted pictures of my home claiming that they had "painted the ceiling and installed the lighting". They did not do either. I had previously hired them to just install crown moulding. This is false advertising and they used my home without my permission to do this. I can't tell you the level of betrayal I felt towards this company. I should also mention that they present themselves as "good church going men". They end every conversation with "God Bless You". I believe they do this to try to convince the public that they are an honest business. They then lie to you, cheat you, and deceive others with your personal property. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you choose another contractor. This contractor will lead you down a path that you will not know the outcome. When trying to complete a home repair we all want the job to be done timely and right. This contractor bids jobs, schedules jobs, actually shows up on site and then leaves stringing you along. All the while saying "God Bless You" ! BEWARE OF THIS CONTRACTOR !!!
Description of Work: I had contacted this provider for an estimate. I had used them several years ago and was happy to see that they were still in business.

Things started out fine, and the job was moving quickly. Most of the work that was performed initially was acceptable, although much of it had to be repeated multiple times. When things really began to fall apart was when sub-contractors entered the picture. I had specifically requested articulated corner kitchen cabinet doors, which I did not receive. Having arrived home from work one day to find cabinet installation completed without the requested accouterments, I was told that the articulated doors were "not available?, even though I was told that this feature would not be a problem. Against my better judgment, I simply accepted this. When the granite was installed in the kitchen, I discovered that there was a major defect in the finish on one section, and two below-the-surface stains. The sub-contractor not only refused to replace the defective granite, but went so far as to blame the defects on me; ignoring the fact that I was not currently residing in the house, and had yet to use the kitchen. The sub-contractor that was hired to install a custom shower did not properly align the framework beforehand, and as a result was unable to complete the 90-degree angle for the top rail. After failing twice over a period of two weeks, he simply left the house without a word, leaving my garage floor covered in glass shards and metal shavings, butchered frame stock on the floor of the bathroom, as well as damaged wall and floor tiles. When I noticed and pointed out that one of the corner walls in a bathroom was not properly aligned, the contractor actually blamed the house, stating that the room was not properly framed. From 1977 through 2012, there was no problem with the wall alignment in this room. The carpeting contractor had omitted the living room when ordering the carpet, and there was a three-week delay in completing this segment of the remodel. When completed, I noticed that there were massive, bulging seams at every section where the carpeting is joined. After having pointed this out and requesting that the joints be corrected, the contractor agreed to ?correct? the errors, which he apparently attempted to do in my absence. The seams are now worse than before, and I recently noticed that the carpet border leading from the dining room to the kitchen is misaligned by one full inch. I am now left with an incomplete remodel of a home that I cannot completely reoccupy, as I still don?t know what will be involved in correcting all of the sub-standard work. I am currently in the process of locating a different carpeting contractor in order to correct the shoddy installation. The cost for these repairs has not yet been determined. I have determined that it will cost an additional $1,400 to complete the master shower, which has now been out of commission for seven weeks. The grout in the opposite shower is five different colors. The estimate to correct the tile work is $1,000. The approximate cost to repeat the kitchen remodel with the cabinets that I had requested and non-defective granite is $23,000. In addition to all this, I have spent three full days aligning cabinet doors, aligning switches and power outlets; all of which required border finishing and paint, and look like they were installed by a three-year-old. This does not take into consideration the personal property in my garage that was damaged, nor the brand-new light fixture that will most likely require replacement due to paint spatter. What I was offered by Pro Choice Décor in terms of compensation was a $2,000 discount off of the total price, which was in excess of $55,000. This does not even begin to address the time and monetary cost that will be involved in correcting their sub-standard work. I had made several mistakes in terms of accepting some of the work, but I believe that my largest mistake was paying them much more frequently that I was contractually obligated to. I had paid 95% of the bill when only 70% of the work had been completed. It was about this time that the work came to a screeching halt. While much work was left to be done, the contractor could rarely be found at the jobsite that I know as my primary home. Worse yet, the attitude of the contractor appeared to change drastically from one of enthusiastic attention to detail, to ?close enough?. I regret having to offer in a public forum what poor quality work Pro Choice Décor is capable of. But my greater regret is hiring them in the first place. If you choose Pro Choice Décor for your home remodeling needs, you will do so at your own peril.
Description of Work: Pro Choice Décor was hired to complete a comprehensive remodel of my home, which included complete remodeling of the kitchen, two bathrooms, acoustic ceiling removal, interior painting, fireplace replacement, all interior doors; lighting, fixtures and hardware; replacement of all carpeting, and floor tile replacement.
