We were very happy with Mike and his team. They were punctual, professional, and kept their work area clean. He worked with us to find great deals on the granite remnant, tub, tile, and other materials we needed. They were always there when they said they'd be, and they were out of the house in the mid-afternoon each day. The entire project took about two weeks (through the Christmas/New Year break, obviously taking days off as appropriate around the holidays) just as they had predicted. They were very much engaged with making sure we were happy with the work and could make improvements wherever necessary as the work progressed. As a nice example, when the bathroom wall was open they found an old coax cable and asked if we wanted him to run it through the floors for easy cable access. Instead, I had him drop an ethernet line so that our computers upstairs can now have faster wired access -- this was something I hadn't even thought of but was very helpful they thought of (when's the next time that wall's going to be open?). Another thing I liked was how this was a family-run company. The work was primarily done by Mike's father and brother, and the other people he works with (the plumber, electrician, and tiler) are people he's worked with for a long time, apparently. Speaking of tile, we were very happy with the tile work done for the shower -- the design is very nice. Finally, after they painted the walls, we realized that we hated the color that we chose (our fault). They repainted the walls the next day with our new color at about half the cost of the original paint job, even though all the fixtures and everything had already been installed. I really don't have any complaints. The price was better than the competing bids, the work was well-done, and the workers were professional and friendly. We will definitely use them again, and in fact have already requested a quote for changing our carpet to tile downstairs.
