Sierra Nevada Seal Coating

Seal coating is a tough business. Tim and his team make it easy to get a bid, schedule the work and provide a solid quality product. More importantly, I find a business more valuable in how they handle things when there is an issue. Tim and team was really good in this regard and stayed in communication, scheduled a fix with our property manager and took care of it. I am very happy with the end-result and his repair service! Background: I took 2 years of getting bids and deciding who to go with for 2 apartment building, parking lot seal-coat jobs. In addition, having done a couple of seal coating jobs personally, I think I am a pretty good judge of this work. Tim is smart. He is informative and something I value highly. Our paving projects were a challenge due to the extensive cracks and age of the the pavement. He explained the condition and benefits of seal-coating. He also explained the risks. He also advised me that due to car engine leaks, sometimes the seal coat deteriorates faster. He was correct. When discussing the project and condition, he then offered a 2-coat sealing process. I wasn't sure about this suggestion, but after researching this on the internet, I found this to be a solid suggestion and chose a 2-coat process. In addition, I liked that he wasn't willing to seal coat the parking lots late in the fall when the weather was risky. Again, after searching the internet, I found this to be a wise suggestion and we waited to the late spring of the following year when the Chico dried out and warmed up. Lastly, Sierra Nevada Seal Coat was really good at dealing with a surprise issue. Like I mentioned, unbeknownst to us, we had some parking spots that had engine oil damage. I called Tim a year later and he inspected it. I was not in a hurry so we were flexible with scheduling. Though it was most likely the tenants issue, Tim purchased a different kind of seal-coat and came out recently in between jobs and resealed the damaged parking spaces. We plan to use Tim again in 3-7 years when it is time to seal coat again.
