Description of Work: My home was pressure washed and the exterior painted, and it really looks beautiful. Aaron the lead painter explained daily to me what they were going to do, and was very patient with me when I requested certain things be done, and he was always willing to answer my many questions.Aaron has an excellent eye for color combinations, and gave me some very good suggestions.Scott came by daily to see how things were going. When I told him I was concerned that one of the colors I had chosen was too light when I saw it on the wall he said " no problem we can change that" and he did and the color is now perfect.I can not say enough good things about SGB Painting. I found the workers to be very friendly and extremely trustworthy . I did not feel I needed to be home "keeping an eye on them" while they were working. They arrived each day at the scheduled time and cleaned up every night before they left.I had bids from 6 other companies. I chose SGB not because of the price, (the quote was in the middle) but because ofScotts professionalism. He did everything he said he was going to do and I am very pleased.So if you want to see a Beautiful painted home, just drive by mine.

Description of Work: Scott and his crew volunteered to help at Love Chico; a non-profit event for Chico. He volunteered himself and crew to paint the interior of two non-profit's in town; The Torres Shelter and The Work Training Center. They did an amazing job. They also obtained the donation for the paint too, so the entire job was done at no cost to the non-profits. They performed these jobs in one day, at both locations at once. Incredible. They did a FANTASTIC job and with smiles on their faces. Thank you so much to SGB Painting for volunteering their time and supplies. You are a blessing to our community!

Description of Work: SGB (Scott G. Bernhardt) Custom Painting was contacted to give an estimate on prepping and painting a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 900 square foot house. The house had been neglected at least two (2) years - it was a foreclosed house. It needed some deep prepping, like scraping and siding replacement, along with caulking of all cracks to ensure weatherproofness.

Description of Work: SGB met with me for about 45 minutes talking about what the job would consist of and what I should expect along with any concerns that they might have. I received an estimate the very next day. On the first day of the job, they pressure washed my home. The duration of the job they got the house ready, and painted my home on the outside, the kitchen and two bedrooms in six days.

Description of Work: Pressure washing and scarping entire house and deck, painting all walls and overhang ceilings, painting trim on roof, windows, doors, built in benches, sink and staining deck.

Scott Bernhardt, Owner SGB Custom Painting, has been providing excellent customer service and expertise in the area of interior and exterior painting and general contracting for over 10 years in the Chico, California area. His work (and his crew) is completed on time and within budget. In addition, his attention to detail is superb. I will use SGB again in the future for both contracting and painting work.
