They were excellent.

The technician arrived on time & went about diagnosis, found what I had feared but hoped against, compressor failure. Their office personnel were helpful, researched our warranty info, located the part & arranged for shipping, which took several days. We were lucky to have a slight cooling trend. The following week the tech. returned & purged the system, replaced the old compressor, recharged the system, & reset the thermostat. Voila! AC! Given the system complexity & particular part failure, cost was reasonable. We found them to be a very professional & informative, helpful company and were glad we were referred to them.

They come out in the spring and fall and check out our heating/air conditioning system. They do not try to sell us unneeded equipment or services, and we have been impressed with their punctuality, professionalism, and with the quality of their employees. Highly recommend.

Went up in the attic, discovered rats had chewed thru a cable. He repaired and reconnected the tubing.. Volunteered to take more rat poison up there if we wanted him to.

I am very pleased with the results. The installers kept me informed during the full installation procedure. What I especially liked, was their asking me for my preferences on variables during the installation. Their work and punctuality was exceptional and they were very courteous during the 5 day installation period. Since installation, the system seems to be working very well. The installation location has given me an extra access to the Attic as well as beneath the house and has improved access for periodic maintenance on the system. I would recommend this contractor to anyone needing this work performed.

The technician outlined what he was going to do before the service. When he was done, he went over all of the parts of the service with me and showed me some parts that were not performing well indicating that I may need to replace those parts down the road. When my husband got home, he offered to demonstrate the faltering parts again.

The techs that installed it did it all in one day. The whole office staff is very professional. I think this is one of the few things that you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend them.

Even during the "busy season" this contractor was able to evaluate my need for an updated furnace/air conditioning system fairly quickly. The evaluator gave my home a full inspection for the size and type of system best for my house. After doing some research, I decided on a Trane system. It was a little pricey, but I felt the installers from McClelland were knowlegable, fast and really had my interests at heart. I have yet to have a maintance visit from them, but I assume it will go just as well. They also were great providing everything I needed to apply for rebates.
