Handyman Jack's

Description of Work: We bought an older house that needed a lot of work. Jack redid the closets, built some shelving, did what needed to be done to make an only halfway installed sprinkler system, installed the electrical connection for our dryer, installed the plumbing connections for our cloths washer, installed the plumbing under the kitchen sink and dishwasher. He was very clear, professional, and reasonable, plus offered some suggestions on what we needed to do. We will use him in the future for other tasks.

Description of Work: On July 17th I called Jack and left a message to ask about wallpaper removal and replacement of a side garage door. He did not return my call so I tried again on the 21st, this time mentioning that I got his name from Angie's List. He called a few hours later and said he could come by on the 24th at 4:00 pm. He did not come. When my husband got home at 5:40 he said he just saw a Handyman Jack truck pulling away. But he had not rung the doorbell. I called him and he said he had just been there but only knocked. He returned and went over the work we needed done and was quiet in manner but pleasant and seemed competent. He said he could do the work in a few weeks, he was busy at the moment, and would send an estimate by the of |the following week. I didn't receive anything so called again and he said he did not remember me. I went over his visit and then he seemed to, finally saying the paperwork was on his desk and he would send me an estimate within the week. After another week passed without hearing from him I had to conclude that he did not want the job. I know that removing wallpaper is not fun and if he didn't want the job I wish he had just said so. I wasted 3 weeks thinking that he would do the job and ended up back at square one. I cannot, unfortunately, recommend Handyman Jack.

Description of Work: Jack diagnosed my problem but couldn't fix it because I needed a new doorbell, but he didn't charge me for the visit.

Description of Work: Repaired a wood fence. Very punctual for both the appointment to obtain the quote & the day of actual work. Very reasonable price (competitors were more than 50% higher. Quality of work was excellent.

Description of Work: Handyman Jack replaced the flooring an drywall in master bath. We also hired him to repair the floor in a second bathe and make some drywall repairs to various rooms. Very good work. Excellent punctuality, performance and professionalism. Reasonable pricing. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: I had a number of small jobs such as fence slats needing to be repaired, smoke alarm replaced, tub caulking, etc. They were easy but not necessarily something I had the tools or time to do. Jack did each of them easily and effectively including discovering why my sliding glass door wasn't working smoothly. He replace a roller and it works well. Great experience and I'll use him again.

Description of Work: I called Jack to hang a cabinet in the dayroom of the transitional house for homeless veterans where I work. He was extremely professional and polite and immediately went to work on getting the cabinet hung on the wall. He did a fantastic job and was in and out of here in about 20 minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who needs some handyman services around their house.
