Earl's plumbing told me that I had a bad ignighter on my 1 year old Whirlpool water heater. They told me I would be better off buying a new water heater from them because my brand was no good. Since it was a year old and under warranty they sent me a new part and installed it myself. It has been working fine ever since. In my opinion, they are nothing but a bunch of liars and thieves and I try and tell as many people as I can about my experience.

We called Earl's plumbering because we had a leaky toilet, The guy showed up an hour late and when he did I showwed him the toilet and told him that I thought it was jst the wax gasket that needed replacing which means just removing 4 bolt nuts lifting off the toilet, remvong the old wax gasket and replacing it with the new one then putting the toilet back on and tighten up the 4 bolt nuts. after I showed him the toilet I took him in the garage and showed him the hot weater heater and asked him how much would it cost to cut out the current filter and put in new one and that is when the sticker shock hit, he quoted me first on the toilet at $202 plus the wax gasket and $475 on the filter for the water heater, I told him how could he charge $202 to remove 4 nuts and replace the gasket and that I could but the filter at Lowes for $86 and that all was needed to be done was cut 2 copper pipes replace the filter and soder the 2 cuts, I asked what cost was $475 for and he stated the filter and the labor. i thought both quotes were off the chart horrinle and told the guy sorry bit was not interested. I would not recommend this company.

Came out on Fri afternoon, returned first thing Monday morning. about half the price of earlier bid from another company.

They quote a price and that's what it's going to cost. I have had people out that charge hourly. They tell you right up front what it's going to cost and you can decide if you want to do the work or not. The quality if work was fine. I haven't had to call them in two years. The guy that came out was real nice. I was happy with them.

They provide estimates for all of their work. They are very professional, clean, and timely. My overall experience with them was fabulous. I was happy with their price. I am recommending them to other people. They are awesome.

We had a leak near our water softening unit outside of our house on a Sunday. They were able to fix the leak within minutes. We thought their charges of $360 was expensive. However, in their defense, it was a Sunday and it's difficult to get a plumber. And they did advise us in advance that they would charge us a lot of money for coming out on a Sunday.

We called them to change a filter under the sink and ended up buying a new water heater because they discovered when they flushed out the water heater that we had a leak that could not be repaired. They offered the free flush for water heater, found the leakage and I really appreciated that. I thought the price was a little higher for a water heater, but, the heater is actually top of the line.

Took a long time as the plumber did not have the right parts and had to go out for them - took an hour. Worse, though, is the price. Earl's used to be time and materials, now the plumber looks through his book for the job price and quotes really high prices. Then tries to sell a service plan, which will lower the job prices, but the service plan is $99. After he fixed the sink and toilet, I asked him to do one more simple job - tighten a fitting. He wanted to go through his book and give me a quote. I said I paid enough already, just do this for me. He finally did - took about 20 seconds.

They ran into a little trouble, but explained everything to me. It took a day longer, but they explained why and did not charge any extra. They even threw in a a couple of new bathroom faucets. About two days later the pipe from the hot water heater to the water pipes to the house blew off. This was pure accident. They were here immediately, within five minutes, to fix this.
