Dave, the locksmith, came right on time. He went right to work re-keying our 6 locks. He was professional and friendly. I would hire him again.

My story began okay. I believe it was the owner of the company that returned the message I left on the company phone. We made an appointment for 1pm at the apartment complex that I own in Chico, CA. I live thirty minutes out of the area and arrived early to assure all the tenants were there to receive their new keys. One tenant came specifically on her lunch hour. At 1:30 no one had arrived. I called the number and fortunately someone answered. It was the gentleman I had spoken with. He mumbled and stumbled as if he had forgotten the appointment, actually almost outwardly admitting it. He said he'd be right there. His business is located less than five minutes away. About a half an hour later I saw his truck pass the apartment twice. A few minutes later he walked up obviously having parked far away and not being able to find the four-plex because there was an entire empty lot around the well marked apartment. Having owned the apartments for twenty years I have had numerous locks changed. It usually takes about fifteen minutes. This day it took over an hour! The locksmith seemed "out of it" and bumbled around. It's not that he was so unprofessional moreso he was unorganized, slow, confused. I'm glad I was in a place to be able to wait. Glad I had kept his phone number because I'd of still been there waiting for him! He did take the $5.00 off my bill for my Angie's coupon but he even seemed confused about that. I would not recommend this company and will not use it again.

Called concerned about a lock not working. He came over right away and took care of the problems for the whole house FAST!!

He was right on time, very personable and did a great job, in a very timely manner.

Very professional. His van has all the tools and extra supplies needed to re-key the house, replace a deadbolt that was missing and install a strike plate. He gave us the option to replace the strike plate ourselves even after we initially asked him to do it explaining that it was something we could easily do ourselves to save us from paying more for his hourly rate. I would definitely use his services again if needed.

Dave came out quickly, gave us an estimate and started work. He's a bit of a character, but very nice and very professional. The quality of work was excellent. He even made an extra trip up to Paradise to drop off extra keys, which we really appreciated. Along with others that have used Bidwell Lock and Key, we can highly recommend them.

Time was important to us as we needed the locks changed from the last tenants. we live out of town and were concerned that we would have to spend another day. we called Bidwell Lock and key on Mon. morning and explained we needed service as soon as possible. he said he would be out before noon and did better, coming about 11am. He did the job quickly and made extra keys and charged us what he estimated over the phone. Pleasant and efficient.

Dave arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. I had several locks to rekey in my new house. A few didn't have the right knob set that he could rekey. He had the brand on hand that could be. The whole job was completed in a timely manner. Dave was courteous and professional. I will definitely call him again and have recommended him to several people.

Dave was extremely kind, got access to my car in just a few minutes and responded to my service call in less than 15 minutes. Couldn't have been better!

Dave did this work in a timely way, was efficient, courteous and reasonable. He called when he was on the way to our house and was great about informing us regarding his time line.

Problem with the front door handle, was quickly assessed, and temporary set in place within one hour. I was told I could simply buy a new set and that this might cost me less, but I really wanted my custom set fixed. I appreciated him giving me the option though. Within 3 days my custom set was reinstalled, all without any disruption in the security of my home and without any hassle to me, as temporary lock used my same house key. I mentioned the trouble with the van door lock, and he asked if I'd like him to look at it and see if he could fix it. I said yes, and it was done in less than a minute!
