Honestly, without Ms. Gillett's help, my home was quickly becoming the modern version of "Uncle Buck's closet." Remember that movie? At first, I was concerned about exposing my disorganization to a stranger. She put me completely at ease with her fun personality. And that lady works fast! Guest Bedroom: She helped my prioritize the business documents and what was needed to be kept for IRS, etc. Then she showed me a more efficient way to keep the documents. We are talking about several bankers boxes that she had to tackle That's what I needed. But, in addition, she moved the existing furniture around to give me twice the space. Her understanding and skill at spacing and decor was a fun extra bonus. Everything was labeled and accessible. Storage off Kitchen: These cabinets were full of family photos, some in the old-style albums and the rest in the photo boxes. I thought these were organized until Patty Gillett took over. What a difference after she was done. She organized all by date and family, put them in real photo archive boxes for protection--there are some very old and precious photos--and taught me the difference between a box and real photo archival. After she was finished, I had more free space. Again, everything was labeled and accessible. Garage: Only one part of the garage was handled as that's what she was accessing to move items from the guest bedroom. I left her alone for less than one hour and when I came back, I was shocked at how quickly she had pulled out unnecessary items and stored the necessary items. Again, clearly labeled and accessible. I can't wait to have her back to do my entire garage. I learned so many practical and new ideas from Patty. She was fun to work with because she has an upbeat and can-do personality. She put me at ease and I quickly got over my embarrassment about that guest room mess. Her pricing was quite reasonal. I can highly recommend her any time.
Description of Work: First, Ms. Gillett completely reorganized a guest bedroom that I also need to use for storage. I had documents and items from a previous business I owned plus the assorted Christmas decorations and miscellaneous items that I needed to retain. Next she took on the task of reorganizing storage cabinets off my kitchen area. When she moved storage items out to the garage, she then reorganized that, too!
