Description of Work: Sound Advice. Seemed knowledgeable. I think he figured out our leak problem but we weren't ready to tear out walls and cabinets yet so we didn't actually get anything fixed, we just stopped using that bathroom. Seems like a lot of money just for advice but I guess it's just a drop in the bucket compared to the costs coming up.

Description of Work: Replaced Kitchen faucet, shutoff valves and tubes. Everything went very well. The new faucet is very nice. It has a good look and operates smoothly. The plumber Brian B. checked and double checked all the new parts and left the area clean and tidy. The end result is well worth the money. |We have used Able Plumbing before and have always been pleased with the result.

 + -1 moreThe service man came and evaluated a leaking pipe a few inches underground that ran parallel to the house. He said he would return shortly because he had to obtain some parts. It took a couple of hours for him to return with a sleave for the 1/2 in pipe. He put on the sleave, refilled the sod that had been removed, charged us and left. The pipe continued to leak. we called them back the next day but were to busy to return and re-repair the leak. A week later our neighbor fixed it. The part, the sleave, cost$9.99 at true value hardware. but we were charged $229.00 by able plumbing.
Description of Work: dig down 4 inches. put a sleave over pipe and bury

 + -1 moreAlthough the work was competent and the company was punctual, it was clear that selling their services was formost. I felt like I was dealing with a used car dealer. It was a bit of an emergency, but I was shocked by the bill. My fault for paying it, but I needed to get the job done in a hurry. In retrospect, the proce was probably double what it should have been. One job - replacing an air gap in the kitchen sink - I turned down. Able wanted $241 for doing it. I did it myself in 30 minutes and for $3.45.
Description of Work: Installed new water heater and fixed leak in sink.
