Description of Work: Reinstalled windows and saved old files. Added a back up drive. Computer went from unusable to working great. He was responsive to follow up questions and problems. Would use him again.

Description of Work: Recovered files from an external drive that failed to respond after a hard drive crash. In addition to the services provided, I was also given some advice concerning my failed desk-top computer. Wish I knew about this business before hiring someone else to repair my computer.

+ -1 moreI was hurrying to get together a photo collage to give as a gift for Valentine's Day. At about twenty to five in the afternoon my computer suddenly crashed and all I had was a blue screen. Without any hope at all I called A Computer Guy only because that happened to be the first listing in the phone book. I got his voicemail and my heart dropped but I left a message. Within 5 minutes Gary was on the phone with me. He didn't ask me a million techie questions I didn't have the answer to. He said he was with someone else right now but he was almost done. He finished up with them and he was at my house by 5:25. He could not have been friendlier and didn't seem at all bent out of shape that this was after hours. He had my computer back up and working and somehow managed to save my photo project in just over an hour and 10 minutes. He charged me $65 for the call even though he had said that his charge was $65 per hour. He is a treasure and I will call him without hesitation for any future computer problems.
Description of Work: Gary, The Computer Guy, came to my house after my computer crashed while Io was putting together a last minute Valentine's Day photo collage. He saved the day!
