I was hesitant about Solar, but this company came and spoke with us and explained how it worked and answered all my questions and explained the whole process. There was no hard sell and they were awesome to work with. The install was professional and we have not had any issues with it at all. We are saving money every month and it has been so wonderful. I'm so glad we did it! I would definitely do it again. This is a family owned company with good people who do good work and do it right. We highly recommend them!

About a year and a half ago we finally made the decision to explore solar panels for our home. After a recommendation from a friend, we called Josh and he informed us that we were almost out of time to take advantage of the larger residuals and tax break being offered at the time. We checked and found that it was indeed the case. We made a quick, but informed decision with Josh and his team's help in getting all the required paperwork, permits, etc. in time to take full advantage of the situation. The installation was flawless with great attention to detail and we are very satisfied with the new panels. We have recommended California Green Energy to friends and they have have been as pleased as we are. We would not hesitate to recommend this company based on our experience.

Josh Woytus is the consummate professional contractor and was a joy to work with. The price was very competitive (I got 5 bids) and once we approved the contract, he kept us informed every step of the way and completed the job quickly. We highly recommend California Green Energy Construction!

They answered all my questions, even when I kept thinking of "another thing." Very nice guys. They brought a professional electrician, who even cleaned up an old wire hanging around in the yard. They finished quickly. Sorry to see them go.

Jish, his Dad, and the entire CGEC Team worked tirelessly to finish my Solar project on time on budget. They maintained good communication throughout the construction and were fair in handling any unexpected costs. I would recommend this Team to anyone. Very professional.

I had a great experience with California Green Energy Construction. They were really knowledgeable and proactive. For example, they called my utility company and was able to get a pre-approval on the size system I wanted in writing. No other company that I received bids for (about 7 different companies) did that, and many of them provided false or misleading information. I trust California Green Energy and they earned it. The service was excellent and the price was at a great value. My solar system is 7.04 kWp and was installed in June 2019.

A recent re-roofing project required that we utilize a solar company to remove and reinstall an existing 20-panel solar system on our roof. We learned CGEC had done the original solar installation ten years ago and contacted them, relieved to learn they were still operating a thriving business (that's "staying power"). Josh Woytus met us immediately to review the work we needed and then provided a very competitive bid. We decided to take advantage of the solar removal/reinstall to expand our system by adding additional solar panels, and Josh helped us along that journey in a very professional and cost-effective manner. Throughout the project, Josh and his team were true professionals, handling all communication with the roofing contractor so the removal, and then the reinstallation (and expansion) went smoothly. We are completely satisfied with the high quality of work CGEC performed and would strongly recommend this company if you are exploring a solar system for your home or business!

They did a perfect job. As good as any Solar installation I've seen. Very organized and efficient. Very competent in every aspect of the job!

Josh's costumer service skills are excellent.

Josh was one of our last quotes but he was the most knowledgeable out of everyone we spoke to prior. He was the only one that I saw who went up on the roof, used his tools, equipment, GPS to read the time of year, the sun and it was amazing. He had great energy. He was Fantastic with communication, he took care of all of our questions and concerns. Just so well mannered and polite. He was excellent. The electricians working for him were clean, kind, polite, work ethic was amazing and we were very appreciative of the quality of work that they performed. We couldnt be happier.

He was very thorough in his design of our system and his work is exceptional. Our install required coordination efforts with a new roof that was being installed.
