UNITED HOME BUILDERS INC

Description of Work: Hired through a salesman with another company to install 2 windows and an entry door. I should have known something was up when, salesman, Bevin started to tell me about another company and they (United Home Builders) could get me a better price. (He even said do not contact the first company or he could get in trouble with them.) Estimate work time 3 Weeks, took them 2 and a half months. When I called to find out what was going on after 4 weeks I got the run around between the salesman, Bevin, and the owner, Jim. Problem with the door was said to be the reason for the delay. I had them put the windows in and wait for the door. When the door arrived they did not have any locks or handles, and I had to put my own in. (Not what I was promised.) Poor communication, extremely unprofessional. Salesman, Bevin, and, owner, Jim made multiple calls to me after completion of work telling that the other was cheating me. I invited both to my home at the same time, and they nearly came to blows in my living room. Both used profanities. Each said that the windows installed were not the windows I ordered. One saying it was a $700 difference and the other said it was $100. (I don't believe either price) Jim said that he had put in the wrong letter when he placed the order. It has been weeks since the incident and neither has sent me any type of refund for the difference. I did my own research and I am happy with the product I got. Not what I ordered, but still a good product. Not top of the line windows, but just under that. If they had been professional they would have refunded the difference for the windows. Still have voice mails, and video of the incident in my house.
